More radical (according to Al Qaeda themselves), better funded, armed and with now a much better chance at overthrowing and taking an entire country for themselves.

Ukraine is winning their war. Russia still has much to gain from at least appearing to be a reasonable actor, and no, no recent Russian aggression positively pales in comparison to what these guys have managed in the past few weeks alone.

Another terrorist state in the Middle East? Bad. A terrorist state whose explicit goals include a caliphate and the elimination of religious and ethnic minorities in the region, and eventually attacks against Western interests and cities? Much worse. It shouldn't and likely won't be the US's fight alone, but it's certainly a cause worth fighting against.

    Still not one single link.

ISIS has no place in the 21st century. The group needs to be eliminated before it can cause more chaos and suffering.

Well, there were multiple links in the post you responded to, both of which you happened to miss. Which part did you take issue with?

This thread could generate better debates if it were not to appeal to emotions with such photos.

I don't really think they have a place in any century, but I suppose they would fit in best in this one or the last one.

    ?

We are living in the 21st century right now and ISIS exists.

    That's a fact.

It may not exist in the future but right now ISIS is a very unpleasant fact for a lot of people.

No, they do not have a place. The same can be said of Netanyahu, who helps give these people ways to recruit people to their cause.
