We've been meddling in the middle east for decades, bro. Our unconditional support for Isreal and the presence of our troops in Saudi Arabia were the causes of Al Qeda's hostility against us.

So your point about not bombing ISIS is mute. They will use some excuse to attack, so what really is your point?

ISIS is beheading people in many other countries that have nothing to do with us. The fact is you are defending the indefensible. We are going to go back in, get used to it.

If you're so gung ho about it, why aren't you signing up and pledging to pay more taxes to fund it?

ISIS could attack us....just like Russia could nuke us.

    Predictable.

Install fear (this time through terrorism), blame it on Democrats, and move in with the cure of Republicans. Wanted to let you know that this is predictable even for someone not living in USA.

Says that those attacks on WTC are because of unconditional support of Israel and Saudi Arabian military bases.

My position is that ISIS, the terrorist scums that they are, have a higher moral ground to attack after Israel too committed war crimes in Gaza. Should they attack we allies join in the retaliation effort with NATO. The concern being: We are all duped from God's children to take action in their favor! If we do not become aware of this then it may prove that they are right too!

Re: Could America face major ISIS attacks soon?

Will IS attack America? How should I know?

All I know about them is that I read somewhere that they are "relatively well-equipped and trained" on military matters, not least because many of Saddam's ex-militaries joined them. Is that even relevant for their capacity to attack America on its ground? I have no idea. The Arabs on 9/11 did it with fewer equipment.

At any rate, I am not fond of the catchphrase of the "war on terror" at all. The problem I see with this term is that it is so vague and leaves the government so much leeway, that this war may never end if the government decides so. But all the extreme and often questionable measures the government takes, including massive expansion of executive power, should never become permanent, else there is a slippery slope into tyranny. That's why I prefer better defined goals, such as a "war on ISIS". The government shouldn't have too easy a time abusing its power.

Yes it certainly can happen. Terrorism has been a problem for America forever just not a very prevalent one. Sending in more troops won't remedy this it will only instigate them further.

ISIS is attacking to take over territory that we have no business to be in.

So you want more Americans to die then? OK.

Has ISIS threatened to attack Israel, or just the US?
