Meanwhile, let's keep feeding the kids salt-laced garbage for lunch so another generation of kids goes obese.
Get the kids hooked on the drug sodium in their food and cause blood pressure to skyrocket.
Then pretend health costs won't balloon as they are doing right now with a sick baby-boomer generation.
Finish it off by stalling healthy meals in the House because Michelle Obama is the First Lady .

Buzz ****ing Killington, in the house ladies and gents...

Re: Is electing a medically fat US President sending the wrong message to US children

Ya know what?

**** the children. If they can't tell the ****ing difference between a fat president and a fit one, and their parents are too ****ing stupid to mention to them at some point that it isn't really good to be too fat, and they're too dimwitted to figure it out for themselves, then **** the children.

Why the **** does everything have to be about the ****ing children anyway?

I mean ****, we take the ****ing children to the ****ing gay pride day parade, we take the ****ing children to see the ****ing South Park Movie, hell some people probably take the ****ing children to see Fifty ****ing Shades of Grey, and yet we're going to worry about a fat ****ing President?

I don't give a ****.

Now that was ****ing good response.:lamo:thumbs::funny

Re: Is electing a medically fat US President sending the wrong message to US children

See my post #47 to Goshin.
If you don't think kids emulate adults I missed my The Mark.
There was no admission involved.

I repeat that Christie is only relevant to the question because he happens to be overweight. Those other names, unless they are overweight, are irrelevant to the question.

The question, in case you forgot, was whether having an overweight president would send the wrong message to children.

IMO we have vastly more important questions than such a trivial matter, and there is no way in hell I'd seriously consider that question as the deciding factor in a vote I make.

Why do you continue to dodge the health of the President when we get whackadoos for VP, as McCain has indirectly called Palin?
With Paul Ryan we would have gotten a wonk who knows the budget though his priorities forget his sucking off the government TEAt all his life.
Biden on the other hand has not been used correctly because his game on foreign affairs is better than Obama's .

Re: Is electing a medically fat US President sending the wrong message to US children

Still, I'd put Stephen Hawking or Chris Christie in the White House long before Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid.

Agree. Nothing I said was intended to say otherwise.

Im sorry, I don't think the government should be in the position to control what people consume... children or not.

Of course kids emulate adults.

Never said otherwise.

My point is that this aspect of a person is a really insignificant part of any equation involving who I'm gonna vote for president.

You need to get updated on your research dude. Salt is good for you again. Don't worry if you wait long enough it will come back around to be bad for you again. Its kinda like fiber in that way.

Every single thing that can enter your body in any way is good for you in the right amounts, and bad for you in the wrong amounts.

Re: Is electing a medically fat US President sending the wrong message to US children

But you'll be the first to complain when health costs go up due to a sick nation's poor diet .
Im sorry, I don't think the government should be in the position to control what people consume... children or not.

I am with Goshen on this one, **** the little children.

Re: Is electing a medically fat US President sending the wrong message to US children

Hey.....

Think of it this way..... If a fat man or woman were elected President, it could be a good way of demonstrating to fat kids everywhere that being fat won't hold you back in life.

Ok, I got to get back to the party. My song just came on, so it is time to do

I know. Just screwing with NIMBY.

Re: Is electing a medically fat US President sending the wrong message to US children

Take a person over 160 blood pressure due to too much salt.
Cut back for two weeks and yer in the 130's.
I know this will hurt the profit margin of some portfolios but will answer the complaints about health costs .

Re: Is electing a medically fat US President sending the wrong message to US children

Go to the emergency room sometime for people without insurance.
Some of them have trouble getting through the double doors and have to turn sideways.
It's all Reagan's fault for free insurance and the explosion of fast-food in the 1980's .

Im sure its always someone's fault.

Reagan wrote the laws, passed them himself, and then signed them...... even determined they were constitutional in the Supreme Court too....

****, do you ever make a single post that isn't oozing with partisan hackery?

It appears not, since I've responded to his posts while ignoring the hackery several times now, and he just throws some more hackery my way.

Re: Is electing a medically fat US President sending the wrong message to US children

Well then how about a sandwich from Blimpie's?
Or maybe you could super-size your burger and fries.
Figures that a libertarian would defend getting obese and then complain that health costs are going up, forgetting the prime cause is the obese .
No, I won't.

Don't put words in my mouth.

Re: Is electing a medically fat US President sending the wrong message to US children

But everything during Obama's term is Obama's fault.
And you just said Reagan is not at fault.
See how your game just fell apart ?

And I've gotten you to say Christie didn't matter but then he did Matter . :lamo

The truth of the matter is that he is composed of a hell of a lot of "matter" .

I don't ****ing care that the health costs are going up........

There, I said it! Now what else do ya got hack?

Re: Is electing a medically fat US President sending the wrong message to US children

But everything during Obama's term is Obama's fault.
I don't recall having said that. Have a look around at many of my posts.
And you just said Reagan is not at fault.
Not singularly no.......
See how your game just fell apart ?
How could it have fallen apart when you have attributed a thought process (Accusing me of thinking everything is Obama's fault, when I have not said such a thing) to me and THEN claimed to point out something that isn't there.

You are so pathetic you are arguing with your own virtual reality version of my thoughts. YOU assign me a position on a particular subject and then proceed to argue with yourself (pretending its me).

How freaking sad is that?

We live in a perverse world where the cheaper food is, the more likely it is unhealthy.

There's no real excuse for being overweight, if the cause is a lack of will.

For example I myself am overweight (although not obese, so far as I know), and I freely admit that it's because I haven't mustered up the willpower to get in shape.

There are, however, actual medical conditions which cause serious issues with weight, I understand.
