She'll get the Kardashian fan vote.
I saw something somewhere by someone that showed how Hillary was going to exploit her, um, prodigious attributes.
I remember it was a campaign strategy against Biden.

Ah, the old cellulite strategy. There's just nothing quite like choosing a president based on body mass - because of the children, of course. If the children can't have cookies, then by golly we're just going to have to elect a human zipper as president. It's only fair, except if you've had a concussion, dodged sniper fire and stuff like that. Then you're entitled to a pass for pain and suffering, and with a minor swing of the hips, Biden is knocked off the dais, and Warren doesn't stand a chance.

Does it send a good message? No. That's the short answer for an incredibly shallow question. But, this answer by someone else sums it up perfectly...

The #1 factor is, or at least should be, running the country.

Example: President Obama is thin and appears to be very fit. Fat lotta good that's doing us.

Which makes me wonder why was he attacked by some on the right for that video of him doing sissy exercises in a hotel gym.

She's 66 years old, ferchrissakes, and nowhere near obese. You want someone shallow enough to have had liposuction and cosmetic surgery? Has politics gone that far down the road?

Being half British myself, with the other half descended from Quebec, I've always enjoyed debate Parliament style.
I'd love to see Obama go toe-to-toe with the congressional morons who've been trashing him for six years .

Re: Is electing a medically fat US President sending the wrong message to US children

Not an all. If the president were fat, and my kids noticed that, I would say "see, even the leader of America can get fat if they don't eat healthy. If you don't think that extra twinkie will make you fat, just look at what happened to the president." Then my kid will freak out every time he sees the president, fear they will get fat if they eat unhealthy, and bam there you go. Healthier kids.

For the record, this is one of the most idiotic topics I've ever seen.
"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free."
"When we live authentically we create an opportunity for others to walk out of their dark prisons of pretend into freedom."

I rolled my eyes over that one. Even "sissy exercises", as he was doing them, have benefit.

Yeah yeah okay so yes we can have a fatass be our president but then what's that say to kids who only see the fat person on TV, their minds don't intercept anything else but that the president is fat.

Can you imagine Christie standing next to Putin? What a catastrophic photo op that would be. Politically that stuff matters in how the country is perceived whether you like it or not.
