    I lost over 40 pounds once. Hey, it wasn't easy...but I did it...and I am a nobody.

This guy wants to be POTUS and he still could not show enough discipline to just stop overeating.

Not only do I think he has lousy ideas and has people in his inner circle apparently doing mega-stupid things while he is clueless (or worse, he is just a liar about the bridge nonsense)...and he is also a weak man personally.

The guy wants to be the most powerful guy in the world and he cannot even stop himself from over-eating.

That is understandable if you are a nobody with little motivation to stay fit. But when you want to run for POTUS, it's pathetically weak, imo.

I think both Obama and GW Bush are/were lousy POTUS's...but at least they have the self-control to look after their bodies. It's the least you can do if you are POTUS.
And Obama cannot stop himself from smoking.
And Clinton could not stop himself from ****ing random whores.
And I realize I only know the examples of vices from these Democrat past presidents, but none from the Republican ones... not saying there are none, I should go find out what vices the Bushs and Reagan had and mention that too.

People aren't perfect human beings, Presidents aren't either. Don't expect them to be.

    1) Obama apparently quit smoking.

Obama jokes that first lady 'scared' him into quitting smoking - NBC News

And I quit smoking as well (and crack and gambling and drinking and overeating).
Smoking is both an emotional and physical addiction...overeating is tough but only emotional. Quitting smoking is harder, imo (and I am not going to debate people about it - it is).

And it all depends how much you smoke as well.

    Fat is fat.

    2) I don't care if POTUS's have vices...but not ones that seriously jeopardize their health...as being a fat pig does (especially if you are middle aged like Christie). You don't believe me - ask a doctor.

Smoking a couple cigs or getting bj's from interns is not going to give you a stroke probably...but being really fat and middle aged just might.

I don't want a repeat of what happened to Wilson

Woodrow Wilson - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I am not going to debate this.

Being in decent shape (i.e. not a fat pig) is the VERY LEAST you can do if you are going to be the most powerful person in the world with the ability to start WW3 on a virtual whim.

And the fact that this ding dong cannot even manage that without surgery proves that he is a VERY weak man.

Lots of people are very weak - I can be (as shown from above). But they are not running for President.

Hey, I am a nobody. And if I can quit over eating/crack/smoking/gambling/drinking...then this slob can at least quit pigging out for the good of the nation. If he can't even do that on his own, then he has no business being POTUS, imo.

    You don't agree...fine.

    We are done on this.

    Good day.

If I had a weight problem (which I do not), I'd be pretty damn pissed off at a few people in this thread. Judgmental much?

It wasn't enough to say "fat." No, "pig" had to be attached.

Assuming you are referring to me.

    a) what's it to you?

and b) I was fat...and I lost weight. When I was fat...I felt like, looked like and WAS a fat pig.

    c) I would call Christie a pig even if he was thin as a rail...I detest his politics. Politically, he is a first class loser in my book.

And you're entitled to your opinion. Congratulations on losing the weight. But not everyone who's overweight is a "fat pig," which is an extremely common epithet. I think it's pretty clear that you were tying "fat" together with "pig" and that you're very unkind and judgmental.

I've known people who have nearly died from lap-band surgery, who've gone for months (medically supervised) without consuming any food at all, who were only allowed to chew sugar-free gum--people who have made heroic efforts and who have failed.

Next time you see somebody in Walmart and think, "Fat pig," just remember that you don't know what that person's health issues are or anything else. Just be grateful that you succeeded and remember that these people are more to be pitied than scorned.

There are some cases wherein a person's weight is outside their control.

I don't think it's more than 10% of overweight persons at most, though that's purely a guess.

Not that it is any of your business...but I do not call people that are fat 'pigs' unless I dislike them. I feel badly for them because I know what it was like. Just like I feel bad for crackheads and drunks and gamblers and smokers...because I know what being those was like as well.

I dislike Chris Christie. I think he is a pig (even if he was thin).

Polticians are fair game to me. If they don't like it - don't run for office.

Now I have wasted enough time on this nonsense...believe whatever you wish...you obviously will no matter what I say.

And if you are going to put words in my mouth and basically call me a liar when I tell you something and you say it is not true even though you do not know me....the do not waste my time again.

If you are going to put words in my mouth...I do not care what you think.

    Exactly.

What's the societal message little Jimmy gets when he see's that the person who leads the world can't actually fit into their own Navies submarines?

What's that say about that society to a kid who is too young to process any other info save for imagery? We shouldn't have a human piglet for leader of the free world. It sends a message of irresponsibility.
