I assume it's legal wherever they are.
And I assume they are both sane and consenting.
So I have little problem with it and it is none of my business.
Yes, she is a little young to be getting married but I have known a lot of 16-17 year old's that were more street wise and tough then most 30 year olds...so it depends on the person.
And she does not look like an innocent babe in the woods.
Yeah it's creepy...but if they both get what they want from it, it's okay by me.
Besides, with a U.S. divorce rate near 40% (or higher)...who are most people to talk about who should marry who.
BTW...if the guy thinks he looks cool having a 16 year old for a wife, he is delusional. When will all men learn that if the looks/age difference is too great, it just looks stupid.
If she was early thirties and hot, that might look okay. But 16? Come on man...everyone knows she is either an idiot or in it for the money.
And every time you have sex, she is thinking of her last young, attractive boy/girlfriend.
It's OK they both look older than than are.I think there should be no restrictions on the marriage decisions of legal adults. That being said, 16 is not a legal adult and this guy belongs in prison.
That's the chance an older partner takes. The bloom can wear off the rose. They were married a few years ago and are already divorced.

They could have done a lot worse.
Should marriages between people where the age gap is 20+ years be banned because you find it icky?

I thought this couple was in the US.Do a little research.
It's not unusual in some countries.
Hush woman, know your place! Stand behind my prize winning puddle! Your father sold you for 3 goats and 10 rats.. so know your value!

That's ridiculous.
Now go get me a beer and a sandwich.
To which she responded, "okay honey - just as soon as I get home from work!"
Greetings, Lutherf. :2wave:
