"that happen to be black"?

From what I have been able to discern, the officer probably should be ashamed of himself, though, the black fellow was anything but the type you allow into your house.

im sorry did i offend anyone i am black do you want me to delete that part? you should read what people say about prez obama maybe i should say african americans ... i put that part in there for a reason and you know why... this is what this is all about

sorry....that may be what you believe this was about

but i think you will be disappointed in the long run

i dont know that for sure yet.....but i am leaning that way now

More evidence.

For me the gamebreaker would be finding out if the weird gunshot in his head was due to him surrendering or charging the cop.

What exactly is what this is all about?

well i guess the three seperate witness where lying or dont know what it looks like when a person is rushing towards someone....correct?

Police have to be allowed a wide margin of discernment on whether a suspect is posing a threat. Unfortunately, one of the most dangerous things you can do is confront the police with violent behavior. They're the only thing that separates us from a society ruled by criminals.

That said, whether or not Michael Brown deserved to be shot or not is up to a D.A. to bring charges and court system to judge, not a mob and court of public opinion. I do believe a national review on how police confront civilians, particularly minorities, and especially with deadly force could be discussed.

For me the "pulling Brown into the vehicle" sounds strange. Why would a cop do that?

Just like other people 'happen to be white' I guess.

No one gets to choose what race they'll be born as.

It's all the luck of the draw.

They do get to chose how they live their life though. Choices have consequences.

Why note it?

There are a dozen other witnesses that corroborate what the cop said happens.

It's not unusual for witnesses to only see part of the incident or to interpret it differently than what actually happened. That isn't a black/white thing. It's a human thing.

Personally, I have a VERY hard time believing that a cop shot someone he believed was in the process of surrendering.

Don't worry about people ragging on you for your poll and the way you phrased it.

As for your poll, it's impossible to know if the officer was justified in his actions since we've yet to hear from the officer himself what he did and why he did it. I have confidence that we'll see that information in due time and we can then have some ability to weigh the two sides of the discussion and come to our own conclusions.

I voted "not sure yet"

I wasn't there.

Now they're saying that Officer Darren Wilson suffered an “Orbital Blowout Fracture to the Eye Socket” during the Mike Brown attack.

That's a pretty vicious attack.

Hard to tell at this point, even if Brown rushed the officer he may have been able to get him under control with a swift blow from a nightstick. Then again if someone is charging and you have a loaded gun, there is a possibility that the assailant may get possession of the weapon and use it. Sometimes these cops are put in a no win situation...

shrubnose...you liked this?

i dont even know what the OP meant by option #4

it makes NO sense to me

and my belief is the the OP wants to make this all about race....

i dont believe that is true....but hopefully once the investigation is over, we will know for sure

One had good reason to lie (he was an accomplice in a strong arm robbery) and looked coached from the very first. The other two tell the exact same story in such a way that it tells their story is rehearsed as well. Do I think they are lying, yes. Do I think they are lying about everything? Don't know yet. More evidence, we're not likely to see for months, is needed.
