Wasn't he unarmed? How could he have been threatening the cop's life???

Lots of ways. If he had tried to get control of the cop's gun. If he overpowered him before he got off a shot (he didnt obviously but he could have attempted it), etc.

We had a cop killed here with his own gun a few yrs ago...by a naked guy.

If he had only shot him once with a bullet that resulted in death, would it have been justified and appropriate? Is it just that there were multiple shots that make it inappropriate and non-justified??

In my opinion, one shot would be very inappropriate and unjustified.

So you think a robbery suspect who was just combative with the Officer, had injured him and attempted to take the Officers gun, and was now advancing on him wasn't enough of a threat to justify shooting him?
Odd.

I am SO sick of this story.

This is, IMO, little more then pissed off people using racism as an excuse for violence/furthering their agenda.

And this story is a prime example if how useless, ignorant and pathetic the mass media is.

Police say an officer killed Brown after the teenager tried to take the officer’s gun.
Witnesses say Brown never assaulted the cop and was actually waving his hands in the air before being shot six times.

I did not choose none of the sides to recognize it as a fact or evidence.
It's enough for me to see how a 18 years old (unarmed) was killed.
As I said, even if there would be 1 bullet on his body, the action would be very inappropriate and unjustified to me.
But 6 bullets (2 in head) ......... C'mon

Regarding the police man, I can say this.
He is way too dump that can't cuff a 18 years old teenager unarmed and was so afraid of him which made him shoot the kid 6 times.
Or he is way too smart to **** up the system. (which often happen in US)

No, reliable witness had said such.
They describe Brown as being in the window of the vehicle. Not what he is doing in there.

And now, supposedly Dorian (the cohort) has made it clear that Brown was attempting to take the Officers gun.
Do you not understand the kind of threat that poses?

You are speaking nonsense to the known evidence.
Under the known evidence, unloading his whole magazine into Brown would have been justified.

Its also an example of just how militarized the police response is to everything.

Many pieces missing from your poll, that is, if you have done ANY RESEARCH about Ferguson, Missouri.

Always keep an eye on the naked guy on the street.

Its about a lot of things. Overall, it is a bad situation and it is sad that something like that happens in the United States, but not surprising that it would happen in a place like Missouri.

A naked guy?

Mentally ill or on drugs, in an intersection. The cop made mistakes but still, if he had even drawn his gun, much less shot this guy....he would have been crucified in the media. Dont you think so?

because simply that's the fact ?!

That fact is that you dont know how many shots were needed to stop the assumed threat to the cop.

Oh hell yeah. He probably would have been accused of targeting naked men too.

That fact is that you dont know how many shots were needed to stop the assumed threat to the cop.

Especially since witnesses have stated that this guy "bum rushed" the cop after having previously attacked him and that this perpetrator kept coming until the "final" sixth shot stopped him.

People in this country have no interest to wait until after at least a preliminary investigation is completed before resulting to savage, uncivilized pandemonium. Regardless of your race, you may not attack the police, try to steal their weapon, and expect not to be killed as a result.

According to a news report I just say, 7 people were killed and 29 wounded in drive bys and other shootings in chicago this weekend. Why the hell is Al Sharpton in Ferguson? He needs to be in Chicago.

You US people watch too much Zombie movies.

You US people watch too much Zombie movies.

People familiar with the actual shooting of defensive weapons and the factual results of gun fights are aware that single shots rarely kill instantly.

What, you folks in Albania didn't know those are actually documentaries? :lamo

I had a student last year that mentioned that zombies were real. I asked where she heard this and she said that her parents and sister and her were watching a documentary the previous night that showed that zombies were real. I asked what documentary it was or what channel it was an she didn't know. I eventually found out that they watched 28 Days Later and truly thought it was a documentary... no joke.

Bod, the conversation with your student is actually priceless, IMO. It exemplifies what we see happening in a lot of places - where fiction is readily accepted as fact. It's like we are witnessing some strange form of social groupthink, which is somehow the impetus for degrading children's ability to engage in critical thinking, problem solving, and social skills. And even worse, this phenomenon apparently goes back several generations, thus explaining why the student's parents thought they were watching a documentary.

Governments love this. These are the type of empowering citizens that support the idocracies.

Remember the following song?:

"Greatest Love Of All"

I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be

I'd have to say that it's appear more and more to not be a happy situation for a lot of folks who will have to depend on their kids of the future. It's a sad deal.

Thanks

My understanding is that the naked guy ate a homeless guy's face. Or something.

Then a cop shot the face-eater guy.
