He shared more of my values than the other guys who, so far as I could see, shared very very few of them. Second, anyone...anyone...who pays attention to the bumper sticker slogans of any candidate is a complete idiot. Did you like Romney's and McCain's bumper sticker slogans better, and is that why you voted for them?

That wouldn't have been a problem as the Dems outnumber the GOP in the Senate. They could easily vote it down. But Harry didn't want the senators in blue states to have to vote again in favor of it now that it is so obvious how terrible it is, how poorly thought out, and how flawed has been its administration.

This will be Obama's legacy: that he forced upon us so flawed and destructive and dangerously expensive program, that he has violated the law numerous times to change the law enough to keep it afloat while he is still President, and that he has lied like a rug to get it passed in the first place and now to assure his gullible base that everything is going just great overall.

Basically this. I voted for Obama (once), and I don't think he's done a particularly good job, but you'd have to put a gun to my head to get me to vote for a Republican. As bad as Obama has been, I've seen nothing that leads me to believe the GOP alternative wouldn't be significantly worse.

Reid would not bring bills to tje floor for a vote because he was deathly afraid that democratic senators in red states would vote with the Republicans becaused they feared they would not get reelected and that goes for Obamacare to.

from a foreign policy side I must say he was better than his predecessor but he has not been good or bad, he has been adequate. Overall he has been an average president, nothing more and nothing less.

I believe those senators would vote as ordered to vote. They don't want to be punished and ostracized from the club. But I could be wrong too.

Never said that was the case but, using the media to trash one side and turn American public opinion so that someone as inept as Obama could step in was bad for us all. It divided this country to a point where, IMO, there may be no return.
