The whole "It was for the ship" BS was just Bush trying to save face after the blowback from the poorly timed and planned photo op. Only a fool would buy into that BS.

Are you suggesting he didn't play it up? The speech below would suggest he did just that. I mean certainly we can agree that had Dubya said, please take that banner down, that it would have been taken down?

I'm not saying he didn't see it, but why would he want to have them take it down. Apparently had finished a very long deployment. Would taking it down have made you happy, what would have bitched about then?

Listen to his speech closely. He mirrored the sentiments of the sign. Clearly he knew it would get seen. To suggest otherwise is hackish IMO.

How many of the 352 bills have you taken the time to investigate to see who had input and who voted to push them forward?
Do you take note as to how many of the bills are sponsored by Democrats?

The Senate passed a bill they knew the House would not approve and the House created a bill they knew has zero chance of getting through the Democratic-led Senate. And all the screaming about the crisis on border will wait for Congress and the President to take their well needed vacations to do something about the crisis. Sad isn't it.

I don't care if the bills are partisan or not.............bring them to the floor for a vote. That is the way it works in this country.

The House was ZERO for 18 in going to a joint conference committee last year. None of my right-wing friends who accuse ME of having a problem with the truth have been able to explain this.

What part of this says repeal the ACA?

To undo is to repeal in congressional language. Until people like yourself come to grips of the truth, you'll then be better informed, that congress in the past years since Obama has been president, is the problem, specifically the republican controlled house.

Are we not just replacing higher paying jobs with lower paying, service industry and part time jobs? Just asking, I don't have any stats.

Overall, President Obama has been a disappointment in many ways, even to his supporters . His promises, including those of transparency, hope and change, were nice campaign slogans, nothing more.
Instead of bridging the racial divides, or any divide as it were, he has chosen sides from the beginning of his presidency and reemphasizes as much in most of his speeches.
Many reasons for the disappointments are already mentioned by others, no need to repeat.
The current crisis in Iraq is developing daily, so we will just have to wait and let history judge his actions. However, he has my support in not sending any ground troops to the region. Ideally, I'd like to see humanitarian efforts only.
While the actions by former and current administrations may have been well intended, neither administration is blameless for the current crisis, and others throughout the world, but the ball is clearly in President Obama's corner. It is his responsibility, his and his advisors, how to move forward.

The word undo was a headline for a CNN article selected by the writer, nothing more.

The Republicans wrote a bill, voted, and passed it with Democrat support, according to law. Wanting to give American people a break by suspending the penalty is a good thing, considering big businesses were being protected. Calling this bill a repeal of the ACA, is more than ridiculous.

We have 4 branches of government for a reason, to place blame on one branch seems unfair when there's enough blame for all.
