Just ask wallstreet if they think he's done a good job. Regardless of if you think the president has any influence at all on the stock market, it still doesn't erase the fact that the dow hit 17,000 in july.

I personally don't think this should have any indication of how well a president has done. However, it does show a relatively steady increase in prosperity. After the doom and gloom of the market crash and a steady increase in jobs throughout the country, I'd say we're headed in the right direction. Still have a long way to go.

as far as the stock market goes most middle class Americans do not have the resources to get involved in it.

That is true and most of their investments are in low yield CDs because they can't afford to speculate with high yield ones..........Sadly I have friends who did just that and lost everything when the market crashed a few years ago.

I'm willing to admit I had great expectations from Obama in the first couple years but that faded quickly into pure disappointment.
I did not vote him but gave him a chance thinking he would do something when he had control of both the House and Senate, which he failed miserably.

I think he leaves a lot to be desired. But I am not sure those he ran against would have been any better.
