    I voted Eleanor.

If this can mean just making a special line of whatever US dollar, then I'd have no problem. But, as in take someone off entirely and replace the fella, no way.

In terms of paper money, you go with an old favorite of the currency debate: Susan B Anthony. She would probably top the list (even though she is certainly not on my top list of fantastic suffragettes), though I would not remove George Washington from the one dollar bill. I would remove another individual who has fallen out of favor with public perception.

I don't think any of the famous men now on our currency should be replaced with any woman. But I am all for commemorating outstanding women on special editions of certain coins, just as we commemorate Americans and their achievements on stamps. One name that doesn't come up too much is Clara Barton. She threw herself into helping the wounded and comforting the families of the missing in the Civil War, and then followed that noble work by founding the American Red Cross. Quite a lady.

Other, all the dollars have pictures already, and paper currency is headed out, thus there is no need for any more. Perhaps the question should be "Who would you remove to make way for a woman?" Grant maybe?

I would remove the three that were not presidents as better presidential options become available. The first could be the first female president, even if it's Hillary, as much as I despise her..

Perhaps. He's a safer bet. There's few Grant defenders out there. I admit I have a bit of a fancy for the guy, but so do I with Hamilton. Another potential issue will spring up with Andrew Jackson. The Jacksonian Democracy hasn't exactly come out to be celebrated as it once was, nor has his Presidency. That being said, it was his democratic appeal and voter expansion that might still trigger a defense.
