    This is actually true.

Bills should only be dead presidents.

I think the idea is worth exploring and I was wondering who would be best suited for the position. Of all the names I've seen tossed out Sally Ride, Susan B. Anthony, and Rosa Parks seemed the most deserving. If I was forced to pick I think Susan B. Anthony is best suited because of her broad and enduring impact on American history and because she better fits chronologically with our current choices.

I picked other. I do not think we should change the dollar.I think maybe replacing the portrait on a ten or twenty would be a better option

. I think for the woman it should be Harriet Tubman. Not only was she an abolitionist but she actively risked her life and freedom to free slaves, and she spied for the union during the civil war.

I do not think being first lady, flying a plane,or being NASA astronaut should be qualifications for who we put on our money. If we were going to put a face of civil rights for blacks it should be MLK jr, not Rosa Parks.Which I do advocate that we put MLK jr on our currency.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

To be fair, the article didn't actually specify the one dollar bill, per se. The OP added that element to the story.

I vote Jessica Alba. If nothing else I would be less likely to part with my cash and save money

I don't think anyone but the Founders should be pictured on money, really.

But that's just my personal view.... I'd remove Lincoln from it as well.
