    I think the bar is/should be higher. Like based on achievements or contributions to our nation. If I was to choose anyone, it would be MLK.

    But I wasnt aware we were creating any new bills.

    I think it's a fun thread, it's gotten a little rancorous but I'd like to see it stay lighter-hearted.
    Well they are. The gold backed bills.

    And Washington deserves his place on the one dollar bill for WHAT HE DID.

    You shouldn't do something for someone just because they are a woman or a homosexual etc. You should do something because they EARNED IT. The woman is going to have to be as legendary as Margaret Thatcher if she would be considered to be alongside Washington.
    There was a misunderstanding. This is about putting a women on a dollar, that is any banknote. Not removing Washington. In my OP I said I'd think Jackson might be a possible option for replacement for a while.

    Here in Mexico it is hard to keep up with the changes.

    I can have 3 of the same denomination with different designs on them in my hand at the same time.

    I'm fine with replacing Andrew Jackson, he didn't do **** to deserve his place on a bill.

    [QUOTE=Mason66;1063642241]You put way too much thought into Tammy Faye Baker.[/QUOTE}

    I simply stated that "analagously" Tammy Faye fit the comparison to USA Fiat Currency perfectly. Two peas in a pod, don't ya' know? Where's your faith? That is what makes fiat money work. That is what made Tammy Faye and Jimmy work, eh?

    Hamilton is mostly famous for an unfortunate tendency to lose duels.

    And to have someone willing to duel you, you pretty much have to be a colossal douchebag. "I hate that guy so much that I will place myself in mortal danger to be rid of him."
