As tittle say which country do you believe today encourage more the terrorism.
It isn't about the organizations, just the country.

Are you asking which countries are the biggest breeding ground for terrorist or the country most often successfully used on terrorist propaganda?

For propaganda it would have need multiple choices. :cool:
 
Fact: Iran is the largest supplier/supporter of terrorism.
 
I am between Afghanistan (for Taliban/Al Qaeda) and Syria/Iraq (for ISIS). There is nothing knew about the former while this later ravages anything non-Muslim (Muslims not according to their tribe also apply).

Perhaps number of terrorists each country has would better answer this question.

But not in terms of manpower, and we know Iran isn't backing ISIS at this point....

If we all agree that ISIS is the largest terrorist organization in the world, than I would go with Syria I guess. Here's what Google says:

Depends on what you exactly mean.

If it is state sponsored "terrorism", then it is Iran/Saudi Arabia hands down.

If it is state actions and policies that make people turn to terror to fight back or get revenge.. Israel and US with Russia getting an honorable mention. France and the Brits are also involved due to historical policies and actions.

I don't think it be Afghanistan, but I think you may be one to something bringing up the Taliban though. You got Waziristan on the border inside Pakistan that's got about three-quarters of a million people there, and that place is a hot bed for terrorist activity. Potentially you'd have more "terrorist" there than ISIS does at this moment, but I don't know just how many are fighting across the border.

it's about the country who encourage these organizations, not the organization itself.
In 2030 you can find ISIS or AL Qaeda with a new brand name and probably in EU throwing governments. :roll:

It can be by recruiting children, aiding organizations with weapons/money, providing area to terrorist organizations, military support etc etc.
I mean, overall of all these. Because we have even US who provided aid to Al Qaeda but still it doesn't make it to be on top list.


I'll go for Iran myself.

Do you mean state sponsored terrorism or as a region that breeds terrorism? State sponsored I am pretty sure Iran takes first place with Palatine and Syria following up. As breeding grounds Syria has been most effective recently and spawned the IS people into Iraq, where it is blossoming. Initially Palestine would have had first place until Afghanistan took over in the fight against the USSR. After the US incursion the terrorists seem to have found a base in Pakistan.

Well I can back up Afghanistan having terrorists attacks, but it is lower and it is only comparable to Iraq in this link:

The US and Isreal (and the UK, in a historical sense) by far.
 
United States hands down. There are tons of terrorist in Africa but they only terrorize their own people, which by our American definition doesn't make them terrorist. You know why? Because we don't **** with Africa! America by far encourages terroism. We thrive off of it. The US Government needs it. You don't make money and get power by curing cancer, you get it by coming up with treatments that makes them come back for more. End thread.

Your reasoning is a bit flawed, but looking at recent history, I must wonder why USA isn't #1 in the poll.
We stir the pot, leave the job half done, simply because we seem to think that we fight with an enemy, a country if you wish, and not an ideology. Big mistake.

Well for one, it's not like the Taliban stay in Afghanistan, they jump back and forth across the border. When Bin Laden chose to run, this is where he came to. Also, every time Obama launches a drone strike into Pakistan, it's generally in this area, and he says everyone they kill are terrorist so there's that as well. Then you have the Pakistanis going in there last month after the attack on the Karachi Airport and killing several hundred.

It just seems to be a hotbed activity is all I'm saying.

Just so we're clear, you guys know this isn't about which country is the instigator of terrorism, but the ones that supply money, men, material, etc.. That's why the US isn't #1 Lovebug. Though at this point, I'd argue that we're not even #1 on their target list a this point.
