There is definitely a War on White People. White People are losing their jobs to minorities at a record pace. The Knock Out game by black people against White People is an epidemic. There are stories out about herds of minorities roaming cities chasing White People until they collapse. Hell, here is a CCTV video out of London where a White Guy is chased and they attempt to kill him!

Yes. What do you think the push for diversity is? DIversity You know, from the latin, to turn aside. What do you think they're turning aside? A grilled cheese? Or who? Someone not adhering to a "Jacket Required" hoity toity dining spot?

Multiculturalism? what is that? Show and tell?

Speaking recently to a Justice Studies graduate who was extolling the virtues of the above two mentioned movements and pretending to keep the context of those terms in the harmless, passive, playful, exercises of sharing that they're presented to be the conversation meandering about led to music where I asked him about George Strait? George who? Steely Dan? Steely Duh? AC/DC, Garth Brooks, Phil Collins, Billy Joel, Elton John... Huh? Who? What? Uh Uh....

I then asked if his idea of multiculturalism was the collaboration of East and West Coast Rap...



If you don't think there is an attack on white people, on white culture, if you will, than you simply have been hanging out with too many white people.
 
On the poor ones. Rich white people are beating up on poor white people everyday.

The problem is that there is some kind of implied malicious or diabolical intent behind trying to capture the votes of peoples your agenda may appeal too. Everyone does it (tries to secure votes by appealing to the priorities of different groups) There is only a legitimate problem here is you misrepresent your agenda.

How can there be a war on whites, when they make the most money, live in the best neighborhoods, have the lowest UNEMPLOYMENT?? Sorry i don't get it...

The only war on whites i see is in the Southern states, by their own WHITE REPUBLICAN, politicians, who keep them poor by right to work slave wages, deny them access to healthcare, and basically phuck them over any which way they can..

It's a preposterous concept. If there's any 'war', then it's waged by the political elite who encourage and cash-in on historical tensions. That the public perceive such tension as grounds for prejudice, only reflects the extent to which they have their players confused. Why should our illustrious 'leaders' desire for harmony, when it would deprive them of a blank cheque?

There's no mystery here that a large group of conservatives believe that minorities are getting gov't handouts in the form of social programs and lack of border enforcement. They call it a racial and political issue, when it's also as much of a class distinction. You can't ever make people like other cultures, though you can make sure impoverished people are treated fairly regardless of ethnicity.

That's pretty much on mark. However, for the sake of clarity, it should be noted that the elite also have an interest in maintaining a certain level of social harmony. So while some of them do exploit historical tensions, there is a limit to the degree that they take it.

Actually the difference between the conservative elite and the liberal elite is that liberals tend to believe that to maintain social harmony, the government needs to provide a stronger social safety net than conservatives would like.

No, I don't see that as being true. I think that, erroneously, Barak Obama sees himself as the great humanitarian with respect to the immigration bomb that's hit the border of late, and I also think that teh Dems are pandering to the non white / Hispanic voting block: cousins all, to try and contorl the situation.

Having said that, I don't thnk that there is a war on white people. There are non white racists that are involved in the issue, but aside from that, what I really think is going on is that the hard core christian fundamentalist WWII generation is dying out and a new deomgraphic is moving in generationally. This of course has happened all over the world throughout human history, so this is nothing new and right now, I think that the demographics of this coutnry are jocking for postion for the coming years. I would say that in 25 or 30 from now, the last vestages of the old WASPs will be gone and such leftovers will simply be marginalized extremsist very much like it is now.

What I worry about, is what this country will decide is the gross domestic product and how will our society fit into that.

There's not a war in the classical sense or even organized aggression, but their is a class war by the controlling political elite that includes whites and minorities as active participants, being played against one another.

I think it's diabolical for a candidate for public office to appeal to hostilities that various groups have against one another to get votes. That is very evil.

You don't think evil is a bit of an overstatement??

You see it as an appeal to hostilities and some see it as an appeal to priorities. I think it's very likely that when you choose define label any groups concerns as "hostile" you're probably projecting.

No I don't. For instance, I think it would be evil for Barack Obama to tell black people that if you vote for me, I will make sure that white people will be paid back for the evils that were inflicted against blacks due to slavery. That's evil. I fail to see how that is projection.

Oh sure, I'll agree with that, however I was addresing the OP queston proper. And I'm not so sure I like the class warfare label either. I see that like "wealth redistribution" the way the right uses it to adavnce the socialism fallacy. The country has shifted our value through production and a true sharing of the wealth, to market betting and manipulation to shift eanring power to those who can afford to bet and thus win a lot of money based upon their forcasts.

They're "building hotels" all over the world.... follow me? And since the American worker has be relegated to working for hotels, the game is against us. But as for whites proper, I stand by my earlier commentary.
 
The idea that there's this "war" on straight, white, Christians is laughable. Minorities have been treated horribly throughout history and now that they are finally starting to get some modicum of equality, the GOP is getting pissy about it. It's ridiculous.

The thread was based on an article that semi mocked the question from a conservative host. You should be a little more thorough before you make assumptions. ;)

I'd think it foregone that neither side envisions precipitating civil unrest, to the extent that the state is jeopardised. As to welfare provision, it hardly stands as any blue touch paper for a powder keg of racial animosity, the precursors of which both predate and exceed it. Considerations of order are a given.

Short of social collapse, what both sides have in common is vested interest. That being, contextually, opportunistic. While neither ideology is driven specifically by any racial component, every little helps in the war for subscription.

This is really just a lovely example of the death pangs of privilege. Those who have never experienced actual discrimination seem to conflate it with not getting special treatment. When you've only known the special treatment, it's hard to see how it's unwarranted.
