Well, to make up for it, they're demanding that the president ignore the Victims of Sex Trafficking Act and immediately deport the children who are seeking asylum, even though they supported the act.

What I mean is you are not part of our country. I certainly am not dissing your opinion. It just does not mean anything to our political system. Sorry if I offended you. Now I hope you have a nice evening

Thanks for adding the poll for me. I am clearly 'poll challenged'

That was the Caning v NLRB decision and not the Congress suing the President.

I'm not sure that the Constitution allows the Congress to sue the President. I think the Framers assumed the the president would not be a lawless and imperialistic crook with no regard for the principles of the united States.

They did not foresee Obama and Holder supported by a lap dog, compliant press that fawn at the sight of the president and applaud his every crime with adoration and high school crush type love.

Okay - I don't know if Congress has ever sued the President before - perhaps during Watergate, but I don't recall the details although I kind of think Congress sued Nixon related to executive privilege but I could be wrong on that.

If Congress can't sue the President, how does Congress protect its constitutional powers against a lawless executive?

Fair enough - I generally don't take offense to internet give and take.

Hope you have a nice evening as well.

It's called "impeachment", which raises the question "If Boehner really thinks Obama is a "lawless executive", then why isn't he going for impeachment instead of pursuing a lawsuit which will go nowhere?"

I think the only Constitutional remedy is Impeachment. The Dems tried to impeach Bush, but it didn't go anywhere.

Nixon was on the verge of being impeached for thinking about doing what Obama is doing.

As I said, i don't think the framers contemplated a lawless and imperialistic despot in the White House who intentionally is using the power of government to eliminate the rights of citizens.

There are about 200 pieces of legislation that Reid won't bring to the floor.

How far do you think an impeachment would get?

Just as far as his lawsuit will
