Since the world is exploding the question begs to be asked.

No. That was easy.

There were Democrats sitting in the White House when we found ourselves in WW l and WW ll.

I doubt it. The world isn't exploding. Most of the conflicts we're experiencing are small-scale sectarian battles that won't expand beyond their local territories. China and Russia would much rather trade with us than go to war with us. Europe is at peace with itself. This includes the current issues in Ukraine. Russia isn't going to annex the nation. It's just moving to protect ethnically Russian people living outside of Russia, and they've had a rough time lately. Conflicts like that aren't going to turn into bigger wars. The Middle East isn't going to rise up against the decadent west. They're too busy fighting each other over whether or not to be become just as decadent. And decadence is winning.

You might add Korea and Vietnam to that list although they were not world wars.

Let's hope so. Maybe we should ship them a few thousand tons of weed to help that process along. :)

*sigh*

I guess it never gets old. Somehow, I fail to see the allure.

I hope you pacifists are right and wish I was as sure as you.

Just as a side note, you don't have to be a pacifist to feel that WWIII is not imminent.

#1: It's precipice, not precifice

#2: Only those losers who believe that we're living on a flat Earth are on any precipice whatsoever.

Now you know.

Are we on the precipice of poor spelling?

There's a difference between idiot moron and Hitler #2, Putin is just an idiot moron.

The reality is that Ukraine is nothing for the U.S. or Russia to go to war over.

As for ISIS, it's strong compared to the ME but is a fly on the world radar for big countries with big standing national armies.

Am I the only one wondering what "precifice" means?

Nope. Im in the crowd of WW3 probably will never happen.

We could have stayed out of WWI and there are quite a bit of historians who think if we had just let the Europeans slug it out amongst themselves WWII wouldn't have happened. But that is all supposition. As for WWII, Pearl Harbor was bombed and then a couple of days later Hitler declared war on us.

If old Bull Moose TR had of won in 1912, I doubt if he would have taken as long as Wilson to get us involved in WWI. But if Taft the isolationist had won in 1912, he would have kept it us out of WWI. But these are just my opinions.

If we do that, then we'll have to send them Aqua Teen Hunger Force episodes and Doritos. Then how will I get my Dorito fix?

The Lays company will make more. Trust me. In the meantime you should try Sausalito's they are pretty good substitutes.

My God! It's almost eerie!

If you think back before G.H. Bush (41) first Gulf War, the argument you heard every four years since post WW ll Presidential elections was this argument that Democrats always got us into war's.

The Republicans can't use that argument anymore can they ?

Lets wait four years and see what happens (Or doesn't happen.).

I voted no, mainly because there's no such thing as a precifice.
