I'm just going to guess that might have had a lot to do with the selection of that area for a retirement home.

I don't ever remember Democrats being criticized for being in the White House during WW l, WW ll or the Korean War. It was just brought up during election time as an argument if the Cold War went hot, it will likely be when a Democrat is in the White House. It was more heard on the streets not being said so much by politicians.

What do you think would have happened if Germany, Italy and Japan would never had signed the Tripartite Pact and Japan still attacked the Pacific Fleet and Hitler never declared war on America ?

Yeah, I know it's another "what if" questions.

Well Las Vegas has a whole lot of golf courses and it's less than an hour drive to Searchlight, Nevada, Harry Reids stomping grounds.

WWIII will be the shortest War in history.

I'll know what happened if I see a flash outside the window, proceeded by a *crack* of thunder that pulverizes the buildings.

You don't get it, you're trying to read between the lines but there are no words there to read.

Should have FDR done a Bush (43) with a regime change in Germany during the early or mid 1930's ?
No way would it have happened since the vast majority of Americans before Dec. 7th 1941 were isolationist and the labor unions and even CPUSA supported Hitler until Comrade Hitler attacked Comrade Stalin in 1941.

In the late 1930's the British had Neville Chamberlain who appeased Hitler, "Peace in our time."

Today America has Barack Obama who appeases dangerous people in the world and has thrown American allies under the bus.

Today it's taught that WW ll began in Europe when Hitler and Stalin invaded Poland. (Revisionist don't like to mention the Soviets invasion from the East)
In reality it began in Asia when Japan invaded Manchuria and China.

Moving towards Ukraine and Gaza, pissing on both Russia and ME, may be a far fetched decision. Opening up on such two fronts may be too much at once is what I am saying.

I don't know why, I think he actually wants to write a book about the war before the revisionist historians accomplish rewriting history. As you noticed the revisionist just a few years ago have already changed the name of the "Philippine Insurrection" to the "Philippine-American War."

But Bradley's "Imperial Cruise" explains how Teddy Roosevelt lit the fuse for war in the Pacific with Japan.

The book start out really weird, American progressives wanting to continue America's "Manifest Destiny." America expanding across the Pacific and our final goal returning to our ancestors motherland in the dark forest of Germany.

    Controversial book when first published.

This Reform Party member thinks it is high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first and their political party further down the line. But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

The people of the world are starting to wise up and would not support such a war barring a Hitler/fascist event.

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers
