Australian senator's ideal man: rich and 'well-hung'

Sydney (AFP) - An Australian senator (Jacqui Lambie) who told breakfast radio she would only date men who were rich and "well-hung" apologized Tuesday, saying she had tried to hide her embarrassment with a joke.

Lambie later apologized for her comments which followed a string of unrelated questions by the breakfast hosts,

Is it okay to be this revealing and honest as a politician or not politically correct? It skates the line of acceptable behavior but doesn't seem worthy of too much fuss?

Who said she was being honest? It sounds like she was making a joke.

That doesnt mean I dont question that even as a joke, that it was inappropriate.

Because if it had been a man joking like that, saying something like 'easy with big boobs,' I think that's inappropriate for that setting as well.

I think she was making a joke, but I also doubt she prefers the opposite qualities...lol

Kind of inappropriate but still funny and not really a big deal. Aren't we all looking for that?

I would laugh. I know that some others would think it inappropriate, and would advise against it for that reason, but I would not be offended.
If you claim sexual harassment to be wrong, yet you defend anyone on your side for any reason,
then you are a hypocrite and everything you say on the matter is just babble.

It'd be better for all of us if politicians were just open and honest even in terms of mundane things.

I think it's amusing. Crude, no doubt, but funny.

I think people need to grow up and stop being offended about things there is no reason to be offended by.

Any legal behavior that hurts no one (and offending thin-skinned people does not count) is completely acceptable to me.

She could have said that she wanted to do the entire local sports team, one by one for all I care.

    Politician's are about policies...not morality.

Anyone that thinks politician's should be role models is, IMO, naive.
