Never forget, when Rick Perry forgot.

I think that says it all when it comes to whether or not I would vote for him. Whether he will run, probably. Knowing the GOP they will throw out 25 different candidates into the fray and wonder why they can't beat the weakest incumbent in recent history.

The economic issues were definitely a factor for McCain, and so was his lack of assertiveness going after Obama. However, Gov. Sarah Palin being added to the ticket was initially the best thing for him. She provided enthusiasm to boring lackluster McCain campaign. Suddenly McCain's stops on the campaign trail had huge crowds, because before she was added the numbers at stops were noticeably small. However, she made a few mistakes in an early interview and most of the media hammered her with it over and over. The McCain campaign panicked and hid her away, they hid away the best thing they had going for his campaign. If she was allowed to continue normally, the media would have had more things to talk about and the damage from those initial missteps would have been minimized.

Yes, turnout effected Romney. I actually think his religion played a part in it. I met a few people that said they would not vote for him because of that. I wonder how many people thought that way? Also I think he should have picked Rubio as VP.

But you seem to think Perry is "Da Man" in Texas. You obviously don't know how Texas politics work. The most powerful political person in the Texas Legislation isn't the Gov. Texas is a little different than other states in terms of the power structure. Actually, the Lt. Governor is "Da Man". I use the the term "Da Man"...because neither is "Da Woman".

Perry is a figurehead. An ignorant, moron, imbecile figurehead at that. His handlers never let you see the long pull-string hang out of the back of his suits along with a money slot. Depending on who drops enough money down the slot...they get to program a message that comes out of his mouth when the pull-string is tugged on.

When Bush was governor...now he was a piece of work. He was the product of privilege. And when his pull-string was tugged at. Let's just say that sometime the message coming out of his mouth was coherent but normally sounded more like Rove. Sometimes it as drivel. Sometimes it was a "WTF Moment?"

You forget it doesn't matter if people are tired of them. It will be those two. So the question then becomes, who has the stronger, more forceful voting blocs come election>?
    that would be jeb bush.

Jeb Bush will never see the inside of the White House, except as a guest.

And the #1 reason for that is the simple fact that his last name is Bush.

That is like an anchor tied to his neck, dragging him down and holding him back.

It helped him in Florida but he's all done now.

Short of Romney, he is a decent candidate.

Actually that's almost a good thing, we're used to it, so no adjustment will be necessary.

    Life goes on.
