Well you seem to have a strong understanding of the Liberal psyche. Of course, Liberals would be better off giving more goodies to corporations and wealthier people. Unfortunately the voting rate among the poor is the lowest in the country. Now...if you...say....privatize prisons so that a corporation makes tons of money...better yet you also pass a host of very punitive laws, you have a sector that will bank roll your elections for decades.

Maybe Conservatives ARE the smart ones, they give handouts to the correct people while Liberals tend to give handouts to folks that don't vote or have money to donate.

Liberals vote enough-and the rest are kept dumb and compliant. The same group of thinkers that forces people to buy private insurance also with a straight face says getting photo ID is an insurmountable task.

As far as the liberal psyche-its about feeling good. Symbolism over substance. You can see this in the response lefties employ when talking with people harmed by the ACA, or the responses of "tolerant" liberals to women or blacks who have the nerve to vote republican-they are treated quite nasty.

This is about political power for the left-and ignorant, dependant "voters" like this woman and all of those magical illegals dems like to import like its cool are part of the problem.

I think this thread is more about partisan hackery than about anything else.

I think public schools are failing our nation for putting out a product like this.

I was an exception-my mother was a public school teacher so I always got special attention. Gate/Honors/AP. There was no horror worse than listening to kids trying to read aloud in class.

The poor...those that you say depend on handouts don't vote.

A Closer Look at the Parties in 2012 | Pew Research Center for the People and the Press
43% of voters that make less than 30k a year vote Republican
45% of voters that make less than 30k a year vote Democratic
Not really this huge handout population you seem to pretend. That's using 30k a year as well...that's above the amount needed for assistance.

I have no idea who most people vote for unless they have a bumper sticker. I'm guessing you're talking about very specific circumstances which isn't exactly a good indication of how liberal blacks or women act to those that vote Republican and are black or women.

There's no way, no metric, nothing you can show that this country is ran by the poor or newly immigrated poor. Maybe in the 1800's there were some cities with large immigrant populations that through machine politics where were dominated by poor immigrants..but it's always been moneyed interest that have held political power. It's the Jaime Diamon's not the Jose's that can meet with a president or congressman from any party at any time.

Like I said, the poor vote enough. Enough to not bite the hand that feeds them.
