Re: Is this Racist?
Is this clip racist, funny, both or neither?
Is this clip racist, funny, both or neither?
:agree: Calling half the people in this country his "enemies," - and he was referring to Republicans - because they didn't agree with him, sure set a fine example for a POTUS who is supposed to represent all the people, as he swore when he took the Oath of office. The Oath also states that he will, to the best of his ability, "preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."
He seems to have a bit of a problem with both parts of the Oath, unfortunately.
Greetings, tres borachos. :2wave:
First time a senate leader vowed it as the single most important objective in the first year.
But of course you know that. That coy, sarcastic, selective memory is making you look silly again.
How about debating as an adult? So the Democrats all supported Bush 43. And the Republicans all supported Clinton. And the Democrats all supported Bush 41. And the Democrats all supported Reagan.
Um, yeah.
Kindly stop with the personal insults. "Games", "childish", etc. How about sticking to the topic/content of my posts and leaving the little digs aside?
How about debating as an adult?
I have already said that the obstruction has been unprecedented and I never said that no president ever had opposition. You put those words in my mouth as a child would do.
This is exactly the kind of childish debate tactic I am talking about.
If you wish to defend their unprecedented obstruction ... fine ...do so...
Denying what we all already know, or making the case that it is not unprecedented, gains you no traction it only makes you appear ... well, yeah ...childish.
There's that childish sarcasm again. No, this is the very first time in history that one party didn't want the other party's candidate to win the Presidential election, Chris. Pay attention.

Show me where the opposition leader in either chamber ever said this or anything like it;
“The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president,” -Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell
The single most important thing we want to achieve... said during the biggest recession since the great depression.
Demographics and voting record, eh?
As for the latter, I lived by it. They do cling to their bibles, they love guns, and many are racist to the core.
I saw it for myself. Whether you believe me or not, makes no difference.

"The single most important thing we want to achieve" ?Are you under the impression that it is important that it was said out loud? Do you think this is something new for the opposition to think?
The interviewer displayed profound stupidity and un-professionalism.
Jackson astounded as he was, had some fun at the interviewers expense...and rightly so.
The term " they all look alike" comes immediately to everyone's mind when viewing this vid.
Was the interviewer being racist?
Stupid ... most definitely ...racist ? probably not.
Greetings to you as well...
So you take issue with a single slipped word that was apologized for?
How tolerant of you.
Is your name Chris...or are you just going to follow me around in this thread and keep it off topic?
Mitch McConnell isn't the topic, unless he was the one who put that float in that parade.
Oh look another story of how racist americans are,,,,, YAWN. Sorry lefties it doesn't work anymore but ill still give you a A for effort.
Bush said many, many things that were many times more insulting than that.Perhaps you didn't see the other video where he said Repubs should sit in the back of the bus? That's more than one word, Buck, but yes, I'm very tolerant about most gaffes, having made my share. But honestly, how would you have felt if Bush had said that Democrats were the enemy? Wouldn't you have been a bit insulted?
Sad that American racism in it's many forms is so common place that it makes you yawn ...don't you agree?
The last tick on that graph was projected. The point before it demonstrated my contention that obstruction against this President is unprecedented. You posted a graph that said "projected" as in the future.
What is reality?
When you make childish snide comments to another, about something I posted?
Yes expect to be followed.
I didn't take this thread off topic but I didn't let silly comments that did, go unanswered either.
Bush said many, many things that were many times more insulting than that.
Don't get me started on the gaffes he dropped on us in eight years.
Hey Gringo...YAWN!...... Hey buck,,,, squirrel!!!
