There are more. A whole lot of them. I hesitate to copy the link because the censor didn't censor a word in it. There wasn't one.

Yeah I know it's Twitter. I'm sure if this were right wingers on Twitter screaming to burn down a retail chain you'd be as dismissive of that, yes?

Of course idiots on twitter should be dismissed. I can't believe any one doesn't.

There have been plenty of right-wingers who have gone apoplectic on Twitter, and yes, I'd be (and have been) just as dismissive of it. Cherry picking random loons and idiots from Twitter in order to prove some point that one side is less civil/tolerant/what-the-****-ever than the other is a fool's errand.

Or check out the discussion posts on Fox/MSNBC. They get so bad you have to wonder if folks are intentionally posting the crap on their own side to try to make the others look bad.

I'll save this next time someone goes ape about right wing Tweets. Thanks Kobie!

By the way, I only provided the links that American asked for. This isn't my thread and I don't think anyone is going to burn down a store - even though loons are suggesting it.

You can save it for when I go ape about right wing tweets, which is highly unlikely to ever happen.

Internet comment sections are pretty much the worst. The comments on Yahoo news stories are pretty much one step up from Youtube comment sections, which are one step up from 4chan, which is one step up from the innermost circle of hell.

No kidding.:lamo

Today's hobby lobby decision has the left fuming.

They are so pissed that they've taken to the internet to vent their rage, some even claiming that they will burn down a hobby lobby.

It begs the question,
How long will it be before a left wing whackadoodle burns down or attempts to burn down a Hobby Lobby?

Probably a lot longer than what it took some right-wing Christian terrorists to decide to blow up some abortion clinics and kill some doctors as part of their pro-life activity.

Start learning about the history of right wing anti abortion violence here: Anti-abortion violence - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

So then let me ask a serious question. What did your post mean in a thread about bombing Hobby Lobby?

Let me ask another way - why is Bundy even crossing anyone's mind when this subject is so non-related to Bundy?

I smell a bit of Bundy obsession here. But hey, whatever.

Let me ask YOU a serious question, tb.
Do you really consider asking if a left-wing whackadoo will blow up a HL to be appropriate and professional for debate politics.

For my wife and I, we will continue to boycott these people.
Another one is Walgreen's, since they moved their corporate headquarters off-shore to pay 1/3 the taxes.

Oh, and off-topic but related to NH, my Dad was from Maine along with 8 Aunts and Uncles and 31 cousins.
I am most familiar with your Presidentials and have a cousin I've hiked with since the late 70's .

I was just mentioning that there was a more appropriate choice for the last option. Why are your panties in a wad over my comment?

You should boycott them if this issue is meaningful enough to you. I boycott some businesses myself.

No, I don't think anyone is going to bomb any HL stores, but I've seen some looney polls here in my time.

Have you ever hiked up Mt. Washington? I did it for the first time this year. It was spectacular. Take the auto road sometime with your wife.

In terms of tweets. I agree, they are the worst. But you do understand that they can be that way because of the relative obscurity of the poster. Anyone tweeting with any notable name (be it a star or politician or such) may be held accountable for their words .

We have never hiked Mt. Washington, so I'm very impressed with that feat.
We took the train up the back-side many years ago and drove it a few other times.
Saw it on a clear day from where my cousin lived in Maine.

My wife loves the coast of Maine.
We've had numerous camping trips to Acadia, and sometimes I feel like I'm smelling the ocean and fishing boats.
Cape Elizabeth in Portland has a fabulous view of the curvature of the Earth .

A good SCOTUS decision... for a change.

We've seen that happen more than once.

The cog rail at Mt. Washington - great adventure! Done it many times myself. I think you're pining a little bit for Maine, Nimby. Grab the wife and visit - but wait until after the tourists leave! Bar Harbor is amazing in October.

For the most part it's the Righties who resort to violence when the Supreme Court rules against them, as we see with them do by murdering abortion doctors. This is probably because they think God is on their side. You know, just like the Allah brigade who blow stuff up.

Liberals will just smoke a joint on it and forget all about the issue in the morning.

I don't smoke pot, but I'll always have my sarcasm.

I hadn't before this controversy started a few months back. There's one in my area too, but not really near anywhere I go.

All in all, I don't see this is as a huge setback. There are already a myriad of programs geared towards providing free contraception. What I find really troublesome is that this may open the door for companies bringing up other challenges because of opposition to things like vaccines or just modern medicine.

So you understand that a politician's tweets (or powerful person in general) may be taken more seriously than some random obscure internet asshat. And rightfully so.

I don't think it will do that. The argument from Hobby Lobby and their co-plaintiffs was that they don't want to have anything to do with funding coverage for birth control methods that are primarily aimed to kill fetuses. Vaccines, treatments and surgeries aren't aimed at killing people.
