Perhaps I will put it in my "should watch movie's" list.

I guess I am one of the odd ones out, but I don't think they should release the movie. Why should Americans have to fear them because of one movie? It's not like we NEED this movie. I personally think the movie goes too far, and puts us in danger. Some argue about freedom of speech, but why not use freedom of speech for GOOD things, and not riling up some crazy leader from another country? So I say they need to put a stop to it now. I think this is the first time I have heard a movie centered around killing a leader of another country, and to even go as far as to use his real name. It would be completely insane for a war to start because of one comedy movie. It's pointless, they should just stop it now.

Do you really want to set that kind of precedent with North Korea?

Why should any of us fear North Korea to begin with? The father pulled the same thing when Team America came out. Nothing happened. It's all bluster and even if it wasn't, they are not a real threat to us.

North Korea's take on new US movie: "Act of war"
SEOUL, South Korea (AP) North Korea is warning that the release of a new American comedy about a plot to assassinate leader Kim Jong Un would be an "act of war."

If the U.S. government doesn't block the movie's release, it will face "stern" and "merciless" retaliation, an unidentified spokesman for North Korea's Foreign Ministry said in state media Wednesday.
He didn't mention the movie by name but was clearly referring to "The Interview," which stars Seth Rogen and James Franco as a producer and talk-show host who land an exclusive interview with the North Korean dictator and are then asked by the CIA to assassinate him.
The "reckless U.S. provocative insanity" of mobilizing a "gangster filmmaker" to challenge the North's leadership is triggering "a gust of hatred and rage" among North Korean people and soldiers, the spokesman said, in typically heated propaganda language.

I say Kim Jong-un can go **** himself. But I am sure the same people who believe that we should cave to the demands of Muslim terrorists and not show Mohamed in a cartoon or not make a film that shows islam in a negative ligtht will say we should ban this film that hurts the feelings of a piece if **** dictator.
This might be a good opportunity to attempt to point out to the NK leaders that we our government doesn't (technically) HAVE that much control.

Seeing how Hollywood and the mainstream media has their lips firmly planted on Obama's anus the North Koreans probably figure Obama has a lot of pull with the film industry.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

    Cicero Marcus Tullius
