Ah, the burden of being white.

The sheer number of times "right wingers" are mentioned in this thread with disdain proves that this was a trap. And to Lizzie's point, how many of them really care about the Native Americans? They are a group who could use some help. Many of them are dirt poor. I wonder if the outraged ones send donations to them, or food and clothing? How many go to the local tribal communities and volunteer to be Big Brothers or Big Sisters?

This thread/poll was an epic failure.

Saweet...next to the stormfront comment thats another pathetic little diversion. You guys are on a roll...you can check that one off in the playbook. What else do you have? Certainly no rebuttal to the facts. Hell...do you even offer the pretense of caring about the actual people you are 'defending'or is it just another part of the 'shtick'?

    Yep. Typical racist apologism.

Pathetic diversions about poor oppressed black folks being kept down by da man and ignoring the fact that a vast majority of crimes committed in this country (and especially perpetrated AGAINST blacks) is committed BY a distinct minority...but...its not FAIR...

Well, I do have Native Canadian ancestry. I don't generally get offended when people act like pricks, though. I have a thick skin.

What a phoney baloney response. As if telling people to have a little consideration for others requires donating and volunteering at the nearest reservation.

Ah...so you are a 1/32 thickskin. Is it 'red'?

Why should YOU be offended when the vast majority of THEM arent offended. And if you are really spun up on your Aboriginal Canadian ancestry you will know their preference for tribal declaration and the group declaration of First Nation or First people...not the insulting Native American. And you will probably understand their bigger concerns are healthcare, suicide, gangs, water rights, and the Canadian government defaulting on promised payouts and attempting to weaken council governments. I interviewed several chiefs up there but it has been well over a decade ago. Things may have changed I reckon. They may have gotten so good for them that they can afford the luxury of being offended by an NFL team nickname.

BTW...Ive got like 1/32 nd in there somewhere as well. More importantly...Im 5th gen 'Native American'. My grandkids are 7th Gen. Hell...we follow the Ward Churchill/Elizabeth Warren model and we can all be Indians just because we say so. I aint mad.
