What facts? last time I checked the bible said no gays. Last time I checked homosexuality was legal in all states and same sex marriage is legal, in what, 20 of them now?

Yes it is. It's All Hallow's Eve, the Eve of the Western Christian Feast Day of All Hallows (All Saints) day. It's been observed by Christians for many many centuries.

I believe culture, practices, and the actual character that can be seen throughout the country is what defines the nation.

The US is a melting pot of everything. However as culture and scripture is concerned we are far removed from biblical standards. So to say with a straight face that America - with it's liberal society regarding so many things that the bible condemns, is a Christian nation is so incredibly strange to me. I don't believe that simply pointing at the majority and their claimed belief, i say claimed because many Christians are just christian in title, can accurately define a nation. It's too narrow in it's scope.
Western culture, throughout most of its history, has been nearly equivalent to Christian culture, and many of the population of the Western hemisphere could broadly be described as cultural Christians.

Our laws are based off of Christian morality too... put it all together. Just because it is not AS Christian as before does not negate the Christianity that permeates our culture and nation. And most of the things in the Bible that condemn things like homosexuality are Old Testament. Christianity is based off of forgiveness and acceptance.

i dont see it fully that way.......i would say its ****ed up , because "PEOPLE CANNOT MIND THEIR OWN BUSINESS"...they wish to use the power of government on other people because they just don't like what other people are doing.

Correct. Thanksgiving was observed starting back in the days of Henry VIII as a day of giving thanks to God (after a day of fasting). The English brought it to this country in the 1600s.

...and that is Old Testament and does not represent "Christianity"... but the religious right of most religions.

I just posted about Halloween. It's an older Christian holiday than Thanksgiving.

LOL. I really hope before your life is over that you find something you like.

This 'discussion' is nothing more than a way for you to spew your venom.
