Who is the Party of freedom?

After the warning, I couldn't reply in thread. But I did think the topic deserved it's own:

Of course the only people I've heard say that are hardcore Dems. Just like hard core Repubs will say the Republicans are (cue Nick denying that he's a Republican even though he never says anything but their party line).

    Who is it, then?

    Pretty much libertarians.

Looking at the options of the poll, I was left with no choice but to vote for the Bacon Party. That tells you something about the establishment parties.

Perhaps it would have been Republicans in the past, but now I would say it is Libertarians.

I kind of thought the "Rent's Too Damn High Party" should have taken off, but it seems to have just fizzed out.

The Republocrats do not stand for freedom. The closest party we have that supports freedom and liberty is the Libertarian Party.

    Neither.

Right now the Libertarian Party but without doubt they'd turn into some cheap power-grabbing facsimile of themselves if they ever got real political power just as the Democrats and Republicans have.
