yeah, you competition shooters are fast...no doubt about it.
hell, even the slow ones are fast...

in "real world" scenarios, it's usually about how fast you identify the situation rather than how fast you draw.... the quicker you identify imminent threats, the better off you are.
i'm a slow hand, but i have brain geared towards tactical awareness.

Looks like we're heading back to Dodge City.

My next few trips will be into gun country, especially Idaho.
I figure to help their economy since so many anti-Bergdahl GOP's have cancelled their Idaho reservations.
He is from there and locals are supporting their guy.

Pretty sure they open-carry in bars in West Yellowstone--great entrance to Yellowstone--very peaceful along the Madison river.
Don't go west TD--you may never come back .
I spent several summers in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and the wind river range as a kid

violent crimes are pretty rare... the vast vast majority of people go through their day NOT raping, pillaging, or murderin'... so ya gotta give society credit for that( while being prepared for the errant wacko to raise his head)

The good guys wear white hats.
Store owners should only shoot open carriers wearing black hats.

Idk dude, I think if I owned an inner city convenience store and some guy walked in the front door carrying an AR 15, I don't think it would be paranoid to be a alarmed by that. Frankly, normal people don't do that. I don't know what would possess anyone to feel the need to do that.

i cannot take physical action against a person, for any reason unless i feel myself or others are threaten.

and if i take action, i dam well better have good reason and a statement to back it up.
