thank you...

Based on the possible combination of choices you may be missing a little over a hundred choices. [/not a mathematician]

what can l do ,the number of options is limited to 10.try voting

Pro choice, pro ssm, don't care about guns, pro single payer universal health care, anti death penalty.

****, why not just add pro or anti Israel while you're at it.

l am pro life ,pro SSM,pro gun ,pro obamacare ,ANTI death penalty

You're missing a lot of combinations, such as mine:

Choice - no opinion, don't care, don't want to discuss it
SSM - pro
Gun - pro
Obamacare - anti
Death Penalty - pro

You need a few hundred more choices, lots of issues aren't covered.

l know thats why l put " other " in the options

5! = 120 choices.

Well, I knew about that. So if you have the numbers 12345, there are 120 different orders (1x2x3x4x5). But there are a total of ten different positions in the OP (pro ssm, anti-ssm, pro life-pro choice, etc.). How does the math work for that?

I guess you are right, I should probably figure this out since I have a data management exam on Friday.

thank you...

Mines not up there.
Pro Choice
Pro SSM
Pro Gun
Anti Obamacare
Pro Death Penalty.

I do not think the government has any business telling a women whether or not she can have an abortion, who can marry whom. I think the government has no business knowing what guns I own or buy or whom I give to anyone. Obamacare is a political agenda that was passed against the will of the majority of Americans and is such a flawed law that the president and HHS has to keep changing it and keep delaying certain sections it seems forever. I am for the Death penalty not because it is a deterrent, but because it guarantees the culprit will never commit another heinous crime.

There are only 32 possibilites. Each of the five only have two answers, considering the poll as written.

Mine's not up there.

Pro-choice
SSM-supportive (but I'd rather government got out of marriage all together)
Pro-gun
Obamacare ambivalent (its main potential value is simply as a jumping off point to something that's decent, hopefully single-payer, as far as I'm concerned)
Anti-death penalty

pro-life
pro-SSM
pro-gun
anti-Obamacare
anti-death penalty

As someone already pointed out, there are many choices missing. This should've been 5 separate polls.

I voted other but the first option is fair enough.

That doesn't sound right at all. Let's a assign a number and a letter for each of the positions: so pro-ssm and anti-ssm would be 1a 1b respectively. Then for each of the positions is 2a,2b,3a,3b,4a,4b,5a,5b.

So if you take the position of "1" changing while the other positions remain static, then you have

1a, 2a, 3a, 4a, 5a, and then
1b, 2a, 3a, 4a, 5a, and that's only ten possibilities right there. Once you cover the other choices changing it's going to be way the hell over 32.
