    Mine's not up there.

    Pro-choice
SSM-supportive (but I'd rather government got out of marriage all together)
    Pro-gun
Obamacare ambivalent (its main potential value is simply as a jumping off point to something that's decent, hopefully single-payer, as far as I'm concerned)
    Anti-death penalty

As someone already pointed out, there are many choices missing. This should've been 5 separate polls.

I voted other but the first option is fair enough.

That doesn't sound right at all. Let's a assign a number and a letter for each of the positions: so pro-ssm and anti-ssm would be 1a 1b respectively. Then for each of the positions is 2a,2b,3a,3b,4a,4b,5a,5b.

So if you take the position of "1" changing while the other positions remain static, then you have

    1a, 2a, 3a, 4a, 5a, and then
1b, 2a, 3a, 4a, 5a, and that's only ten possibilities right there. Once you cover the other choices changing it's going to be way the hell over 32.

Hold on, I think I just answered my own question. If the 1a and 1b change results in 10 total possibilities, and there are five positions, then that would mean there are exactly 100 possible combinations. Yes?

Time to start a new poll, Medusa, and we want to see every one of those 100 damn choices up there.

Since there are two outcomes of each choice and five choices the formula is 2 to the 5th power:

This was done for a coin toss but works for this poll as well (Consider the H as pro and the T as anti):

    H H H H T

    Re: Pro or anti ??

I voted for option 1. I am pro-choice, and in favor of minimal restrictions on abortion. I am in favor of equal rights for all gays, including marriage. I dislike the terms 'pro-gun' and 'anti-gun.' I'm sure some on the right would accuse me of being anti-gun, but I don't favor any gun bans, with the exception of automatic weapons. The main restrictions I support are universal background checks and a ban on concealed carry. The more important issue is not the existence of guns, but rather how the guns are used. I don't think that makes me particularly anti-gun, unlike the crowd that wants to ban all guns and thinks hunters are the moral equivalent of felons. My 'anti-Obamacare' vote is probably deceiving as well. I don't favor the ironically named "free market" healthcare system either. My belief is that the ACA is simply a bailout for the healthcare industry and any system that doesn't treat healthcare as a right is unacceptable. I also oppose state sanctioned murder, and therefore oppose the death penalty.
