You might try something like The English Premier League if the World Cup bores you.

It's easy to see why they call it "the beautiful game" when two top teams go at it.

Good news! The Japanese, or at least Yui Horie, have managed to make the World Cup interesting.

MLS is nowhere near on par with the Big Four. It's not even close.
Go to Seattle, Sounders are outdrawing the Mariners. Sounders are averaging 45,000 per game, they outdraw nearly all of the Baseball teams. You can't ignore success.

Very stupid article. We had baseball fans beat a guy into a coma at a Dodgers game, we have had riots after NCAA tournaments, etc.

Another idiot xenophobic writer for a hack magazine.

I simply have zero interest in soccer, hockey too for that matter.
This Reform Party member thinks it is high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first and their political party further down the line. But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

Well yeah, the atmosphere is incredible if nothing else. Shocked by the noise of the crowd from the American contingent last night. If its not popular there, the few fans they have are loud!

Oh, please. It's just another xenophobic, malinformed, "we don't like soccer because we're real Americans so **** you" rant.

He knows it but obviously he is clearly trolling. He has been on this thread and another "soccer" poll thread he created, its all very odd.

Re: Do you intend to watch the World Cup?

No, I do not intend on watching the World Cup. I'm not a fan of sports regardless, and when I do watch sports, it is usually in the background. But my reason for avoiding the World Cup intentionally is that the Brazilian government has spent an obscene amount of money on the event while not addressing the large poverty problem in the country.
