Hell no, it would be like hiding your beliefs. Screw that. The 2A is a focal point of the Tea Party.
I don't "belong" to the party, but align with that support.

    Why should they do that?

Of all the animals in existence, the Tea Party chose to put a snake on its unofficial flag. A ****ing snake. If they can't see the irony in that, well, then there's no hope in reasoning with them at all.

Gladly I'm sure they'll keep it.
I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

Absolutely not, stick with what you believe in! Just because reactionaries tried to recreate the beer hall putsch at Cici's pizza with 2 people does not mean you appease them for doing what they did.

There is no hope in reasoning with someone who does not see what the flags true message is.

there's always a temptation to highlight one nutbag who is connected to the other team, and then try to use that to indict the entire ideology. this is intellectually dishonest.
You must be dreaming if you think Bundy and the Teas have attracted and inflamed only one "nutbag".
