I'm 6 feet (which I don't consider to be tall) and I've always found this to be true, almost to extreme examples frankly. I've also found it to be true across racial lines. This phenomena seems to be very encompassing. Height seems to have a direct correlation on whether or not you are moderate, conservative or very conservative and or liberal.

I've always found the shorter the man, the more conservative, the taller the man, the more liberal and or moderate they are.

What say you?

I say this thread serves no purpose. Shows some hard data. I'm 5'9 and Conservative. Most Liberals I have meet are Shorter then men, and A lot of Conservative I know are taller then me, then again one's height doesn't really play a role of one's political leaning.

I'm 6'4" and consider myself right of center.

Short men are generally more conservative because all the progressive literature is kept on the high shelves at libraries.

6'1" and Conservative here.

I am below average on the height scale. 5'3" and I consider myself a right leaning moderate. In my younger days I would have considered myself a radical right winger. I hope this helps with your data.

I have no interest in commenting on the OP. I just wanted to give you my specs so that you could further continue your study. It seems to be lacking at this point.

5'11" - Conservative

Height isn't a determining factor. Flavored coffee is.

I find the other way around. taller men tend to have advantages. you hear how a short man cannot be elected president. Short men don't get the prom queens. Sort men aren't the sales leaders or CEOs. Short men tend to think life has been unfair to them. such people tend to want government to even things up

Thanks, but I wasn't intending on putting any actual research into this

Yes, but short men live longer than tall men.

Are you suggesting that conservatives tend to take their coffee black?

I do. I would classify myself as a Goldwater Conservative, which is not the same as the conservatives of today.

we call those strong national defense libertarians

I buy a cup of coffee at Loaf N Jug from time to time. I combine french vanilla cappuccino, hot chocolate and the darkest roast coffee they have at the moment. I'm 6'1". I'm conservative.

The larger issue is presented here:

What say you?

I have little faith in your anecdotal experience.

6'2 and conservative.

Hows the weather down there? Must suck to be the last to know its raining.

I might be small, but I pack a really mean left hook, so you'd better watch out for me! Not only that, but I'm also a really mean bully! :2razz:

Nope.

Shortest man I know is extremely liberal. Tallest two men I know are some of the more conservative of my circle.
