In the Republican party, just like kindergarden, everyone gets a feel good trophy, as they sure have no shot at the big prize.
    Feel good trophy?...naw that's a Leftist thing.

    Are you really in HS?

OK...so a higher percentage of blacks turned out to vote than whites.....that is very different from 'more blacks voted than whiles'.

Historically blacks were not known for big turnouts....it makes sense that a black candidate would be motivating.

In case you missed it, the current President was elected by a lot of non-minority votes. You're suggestion implies that minorities aren't capable of voting outside their race.
I don't think I implied that at all.

Of course minorities are capable of voting outside their race but it's pretty naive to insist no person on the planet is swayed by race. The major parties certainly agree with that statement as they recruit minorities to run. Even the Republican Party is desperately trying to shed it's "rich, old white guy" image.

Let me tell you - if the only women who run are like Hillary Clinton I'll never vote for a single female president - ever.

I find it obtuse and insulting that people assume others are driven by race and gender issues.
There is a lot of people who feel the same way about Sarah Palin or Michelle Bachmann... Gender is really irrelevant to the views of a candidate these days.

Well, yes it does imply that minorities are incapable of voting outside their race because that's the only way that no white male will ever be President again.

That is absolutely true. I am amazed that the Republicans are doing their own cutoff to their base though by going against it. It's defeatist.
Neither side in an argument can find the truth when both make an absolute claim on it.

Why even exert yourself to disgorge such excremental queries? Do you foresee an extinction level event from which blacks and women are oddly impervious?
