I just cant believe how inept our politicians are. You have one side arguing that "we don't know the truth about his dissapearence" and that "he was at deaths door". When clearly there are many indications that we know some evidence that he had deserted his post. And we have video clearly showing he walked on his own power to the helicopter. Hardly on deaths door by a long shot.
Then you have the other side trying to politicize the fact that they released a bunch of bad guys without notifying congress properly. Which I think completely misses the concert of the average American. I don't think any voter really cares much about properly notifying them of a deal to bring him home.
I think the average American is highly disturbed by the massive amount of evidence that this guy deserted his post.
My personal curiosity is that if the reports are true that he was against the war in Afghanistan there is potential he not only deserted, but defected. Which if he did, he does not deserve the label of POW. Either way, I agree that he should be brought home, but if the evidence is to be believed, he should be brought home to face justice not a fanfare hero welcome.
My concern is that the administration will try as hard as they can to cover the evidence of his possible defection because it would heavily damage them. There already seems to be attempt thru the media to try and ignore the evidence he may have defected.
