If you the world to be a better then promote equality not government programs that are race based. All those do is promote inequality.
I don't think it views minorities as inferior than whites. I think it says that whites have brutally abused blacks to such an extent in the past so blacks need some assistance in compensating for that brutal abuse.

AA exists for two reasons primarily:

    1. Diversity improves a university and the product offered.
    2. It helps to counter existing systemic real racism that exists today.
    By promoting racist policies.

Please explain how forced diversity improves an education.

Well, this is just stupid. It could just as well be making the statement that minorities have had fewer opertunities.

That would be fine if what we had was a meritocracy. Then there would be no need for AA at all and I would be against it. But in reality, the world does not work like that.

You need to review the definition of racism and pay attention to the whole thing, not just the parts used to apologize for real racism.

If it's beyond your grasp currently, I'm not wasting my time trying to explain it to you personally. Sorry. Good luck.

I really don't believe in the whole white guilt thing. If you want to help those that are less fortunate then others then help them base on economic needs instead of race. Their are many poor white kids in today's world are you are going deny them help just because of some they have nothing to do with?

Hope you tell me so I can learn. Or if you really don't know and just blowing smoke just let me know.

Also any different treatment base on race is racist.

It's not a question of feeling guilty. It's a question of having a government that is fair and just. Blacks were brutally abused in the past and that has had an very detrimental effect on their present condition. A government that endeavors to correct the past evils that it inflicted on a large segment of the population is merely doing what is just, not because of white guilt.

Government corrects this by giving the same standing in the eyes of the laws not by giving special treatment. I could understand the policy after the slaves were free during the time of reconstruction but all those policy now just enforce the idea that their is something fundamental different from whites and minorities.
