    We tried that $1 coin. Didn't work out so well.

    As germy as it may be, I'd say keep the bill, get rid of pennies.

    It would save money and cost money. Savings in that coins outlast bills, but costs involved with the conversion. I voted go to coin based on long term savings. Perhaps elimination of the penny, at the same time, would be a good idea.

    Just revalue our currency and do a 4/1 reverse split or something like that, either that or come out with $500 bills and drop some of the lower denominations. Then a dollar coin could function as a quarter and I'd be okay with it.
