I think she did. Of all the dumb things she's said in the past, this is at the top of that list for sure.

    Thoughts?

Cross what line? To me, there is nothing more wrong with them than they are stupid and makes her own religion look bad.

So no, she's nowhere near representative of the Republican party.
Probably because you live in New England. I suspect the Republicans up there are probably a little more sane than the average Republican voter across America.

If people in the south were asked to choose Ted Cruz, Rick Perry or S Palin...would Palin rate higher?

Over the last few years I have come to equate Palin with Lucile Ball in the comedy "I love Lucy." A hit show while I was much younger. I'm surprised people are still paying her attention. As for her quote, while I was in the military and working for them as a civilian, we joked and said thing much worse. I don't think it is any big thing.

But I still can't get over people are actually paying attention to her. I do suppose she can raise funds for the republicans, but as a political figure, I think she had her 15 minutes of fame and blew it.
This Reform Party member thinks it is high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first and their political party further down the line. But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

I'm not a real New Englander. I'm a transplant originally from NJ, and I've lived all over the country.

This Georgia boy..er..old man don't take Palin serious at all. Far as I am concerned she has been relegated to the trash heap of political history. Also being from Georgia, I don't pay Cruz much attention either, but I do think Perry would have been a better presidential nominee than Romney. But after 2012, Perry has disappeared from my radar too.

They are all equally bad choices....and I would expect Texas to embrace any and or all of the three.

If the GOP wants someone who is going to "energize" the grand old party....Perry is hardly the person. Either is Cruz for that matter. Mr. Green Eggs and Ham doesn't have the credibility or the charisma to lead the party. Like her or hate her....Sarah Palin energizes the GOP. I personally do not like her at all, but I believe that she will energize the party.
