I think she did. Of all the dumb things she's said in the past, this is at the top of that list for sure.

    Thoughts?
Well, it's hard to take her seriously. But, being so in favor of torture makes her pretty immoral. And makes it clear. So, she likely crossed the line of moral behavior.

AUSTAN GOOLSBEE: I think the world vests too much power, certainly in the president, probably in Washington in general for its influence on the economy, because most all of the economy has nothing to do with the government.

I liked the "I am not a witch" lady myself, at least she was funny. Palin ain't funny, she just says stuff to get the crowded room agoin' and fired up.

She is good at saying what her audience wants to hear. That is a valuable political skill, after all. Her rhetoric was applauded by all present.

Torture is how we baptize terrorists?

I thought we didn't torture, but only engaged in "enhanced interrogation"?

This delusional bitch has said so many dumb things in the past that's it's difficult to single out any one as being worthy of the top of the list. She is the perfect mouthpiece for the Far Right.

I must have missed your poll on Obama and drones - what were the results, if you remember?

I thought she said "waterboarding" is how we baptize terrorists. If you don't believe waterboarding is torture, as many don't, and if you believe legal interpretations out of the Bush administration stating just that, then there's nothing to be outraged about.

That may be. I started to listen to the video of her speech, but got bored before she got to the waterboarding part.

I would not consider myself radical left by any means, but I am Canadian and, yes, her comments were reprehensible. Torture is reprehensible. anyone whom professes to follow a God whose son was tortured, whipped, beaten, humiliated and crucified is way the **** out of line promoting the simulated drowning of "terrorist" who have never had the benefit of counsel, have been denied the precious "rights" America is so ****ing hypocritically proud of, never been tried nor even accused in an appropriate manner.

I have in the past defended Palin, against many attackers, and decried the stupidity of the left and their MSM who have probed and dissected her every move, comment and even spent a million bucks scrounging through her email after she was out of office in the most grotesque abuse of "freedom of information"....

But this makes her no better than Harry "Jihadist" Reid or Barrack "I will close Gitmo" Obama.
