Demanding punishment is a part of being able to say or think what you want. Or, is that only applicable when someone says despicable things?

Read my statement again. I clearly said you should be allowed to say or think anything you want so your question is stupid.

In Nazi Germany the general public looted and ransacked Jew owned businesses and you are on the same path here.

Comparing your fellow posters to Nazis, now.

My goodness gracious sakes alive.

Ransacking a business is illegal. Criticizing someone and demanding some form of consequence is not.

Saying the latter leads to the former is ridiculous.

You wrote: "I think demanding punishment for people you disagree with makes you a fascist moron." Therefore, the original thought or words that are despicable are OK to you, but the demanding of punishment is an act of not only a moron, but a "fascist moron". The irony of you calling my question stupid is astounding.

You want to take this mans business from him by force.

1loot
noun \ˈlüt\

: something that is stolen or taken by force

And the difference is?

It's not just his private business. He entered into an association with rules and regulations that you must abide by. Since he did not abide by those rules, the NBA has every right to force him to sell the team. He will receive the money from the sale and he will receive no punishment from the government.

So yeah, when you use words like loot or ransack, know what they mean and how to use them before you attempt to use those words in a debate.

I stated my opinion but I never said you should be punished for your opinion like you want to punish the racist guy. If you can't see the difference then it explains why you can't see that your question was a stupid one.

What rule and regulation did he break? Hint, the answer is none. He just annoys you and you want him to suffer.

It is your right to be a racist, sub human, idiotic, asshole, dickheaded, stupid, moron, retarded, jerk ...if you so choose to be.
But know this ... All those adjectives go inseparably together with that right.

...AND, this who you are identifying with.

He embarrassed the NBA and hurt it's brand, which is enough reason for the NBA and the other owners to oust him.

Just face it, you are wrong here. Freedom of speech is a two way street.

Nope . . . you cannot have it all ways, and that's what you want. Free speech for the guy with the racist words, and anybody who speaks up, criticizes, or demands punishment is a fascist moron.

You said he broke rules and once again you are wrong. He broke no rules at all.

speak up all you want. Feel free to express your opinion but when you demand punishment you are a fascist moron.

Then the NBA are fascist morons and he joined that organization knowing that he was expected to abide by their expectations.
The asshole was punished by the organization that he joined with his eyes wide open.

Once again what rule did he break? What was the spelled out expectation in the contract to buy the team that he disregarded?

Why? I'm just curious, for instance, let's say Jerry Reinsdorf thinks Sterling's words hurt the brand of NBA basketball. He owns the Bulls and doesn't want his brand hurt . . . so, because of the bylaws or whatever in the NBA, wouldn't he have a right to ask for punishment? Don't the other owners? Seeing that they have a general clause that states they can remove an owner that is detrimental to the league. Or should they have to suffer a consequence of loosing money because of fan reaction?

You want it all ways and you cannot have that. Sometimes, there aren't 2-sides to every story. You keep defending his words and the right to say them; anyone who thinks differently is a moron . . . and a fascist. I'm am not sure how that works in your mind's eye, but so be it.

The common sense rule that if you join an organization that is 75% black that if you act and talk like an asshole racist , they may not be too happy with you.
But as a rule racists are not known for their common sense.

Typical lib ploy, put words in my mouth I never said because you can't stand up to my true words. I said demanding he be punished makes you a fascist moron not thinking differently. Is that to complicated for you?

When a lib is beaten in honest debate which happens all the time, they turn to personal attacks and the debate is over.

If a co-worker tells me that he/she doesn't want to be associated with me, goes on a racist rant about me, tells me I shouldn't have my job, etc, etc - am I fascist moron for demanding a consequence? Or should my co-worker be able to saying anything, no matter how racist or discriminatory? What if my boss penalizes the individual? Is it just Nazi Germany at the point?

I did not put words in your mouth and you are playing semantics now. No . . . I asked you 4-questions . . . you answered none. However, let's just say there is a big difference in saying anyone who thinks differently is a fascist and demanding punishment makes you a fascist moron. OK . . . huge difference, you win . . . now answer the questions. I'm just asking you to clear things up.

Again, I find it ironic that you claim he is personally attacking you after you stated anyone demanding punishment is a fascist moron. Therefore, anyone in this thread who thinks demanding punishment was an option . . . is a moron. Now, I do believe there is a moron taking part in this conversation . . . I just won't say who I think it is.

In a word, no. Everyone has the right to say what they want . . . just as everyone has the right to suffer consequences if what they want to say is wrong. I learned that from my Mom & Dad a long time ago. You know, back when everything was good and wholesome in our conservative corner of America.

Personal attacks?
The only persons I have attacked are asshole racists and the the skin headed asshole racist in the picture I posted...
That's not a picture of you is it sawyerloggingin?
You told us that you were not a racist...
