Bumper stickers on paint, not a real smart thing to do.
I wish my hand written was that good.

I got taxed and hard in my state of California. Most guys made around 88,000 or so depending on what you did. Truck drivers and recovery drivers made on average about 80,000 maybe a bit more north depending on how much time was put in. We were paid essentially hourly straight rate with no overtime rate adjustment. To get 88,000 you needed to work a minimum of 84hr+ week with two weeks R&R a year. Typically 4200hrs a year for 50 weeks worked out to 21 dollars an hour which a driver could easily make in the states. I made a max of about 109000 as a convoy commander and I was routinely putting in 14+hrs a day and no R&R for the year. That's for running the equivalent of 2 companies of transports and personnel. Believe me when I say with the greatest sincerity I can muster Uncle Sam got a very very good bargain.

Oh well I shall stop side tracking the thread now.
Ok, the civilian contractors I was around never left the wire accept to fly to another fob, were certainly not convoy commanders, and the many I talked to made upwards of 120K per year tax free.

You sound regretful. I think maybe you signed on with the wrong contractor.

You are joking. Right? Why would you even bother going to work at all if you were going to make that? You can make that much panhandling.

Why did you put up with such low wages? Were you using some sort of illegal drug that influenced you in your decision to work for such a cheap company that has no respect for it's employees? That's freaking slave labor.

Were you to spit in their faces, the reaction would be even more noticeable.

Anyone who insane enough to post a note on my car is insane enough for me to whip their butt and send them to the hospital.

Their are a lot of sick people in this world and I know how to deal with them.

It's hard to make a delicious turkey sandwich because turkey isn't delicious.

If you want a delicious sandwich first you throw away the turkey and get some bacon, lettuce and tomato.

I like mine on toasted rye bread.

The First Amendment works both ways. Damaging the car is not freedom of speech however.

I saw two ironic things in the OP:

    1) the tag says he lives in California and the OP was surprised at the reactions he gets, and;

    2) the note was written by a supposed tolerant Democrat.

    Just my observation.

No, I don't have bumper stickers but do have a very small sticker on my rear window that denotes me as a combat veteran. I have had one note, and it was from what they said was a young boy, that put the note on my truck thanking me for my service, while I was parked at a Cracker Barrel restaurant. Kinda choked me up a little when I read it. I looked for him, but no one was around. And, the worst thing is, I lost the note.
Everything in your life is a reflection of a choice you have made. If you want a different result, don't blame someone else, or expect others to make a change, you should stop complaining and make a different choice. Remember, the circumstances of your birth don't determine the outcome of your life.

First, you have to cook the turkey yourself for it to be delicious. And yes, there can be delicious turkey.

Second, turkey was not made to be in a sandwich, so I can agree that there is no delicious turkey sandwich.

Third... Damn right... BLT's... food of the God's... in fact... BACON!!!! But on rye???

Some idiot actually took the time to write out that note?

    So classy, too.
