    Exactly,
This Reform Party member thinks it is high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first and their political party further down the line. But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

I started listening back in the early 80's.

I got tired of commercial talk radio hosts ginning the rhetoric to get people to buy water softeners, transmission, lawn, pest control and ac service.

I listen when I'm in the truck. The guy is local and Independent-Libertarian, but sometimes he goes off the deep end.

    Yes.

Oddly (or not?), however, I find myself disagreeing more and more with the hosts/narrative as time goes on.

Or at least picking out specific logic fails and whatnot.

    It's not that bad.

Then again tend to I switch to a music station if they go off into one of those mutual back-patting frenzies, or some rant about whatever standard rant-topic.

It's the bits where they seem to be thinking or carrying on a serious discussion that I like.

Re: Do You Listen To Political Talk Radio?

I started listening to political talk radio around 1992. If I listen to music on the radio I find myself changing the stations constantly. However with talk radio I can leave it in the background for hours, whether I am driving or working in the garage or whatever. Rush is one of my favorites. Unfortunately Hannity has gotten boring nowadays. Savage is a little too crazy. And I miss Neal Boortz (his replacement Herman Cain is not nearly as good).

I answered "no," but sometimes I listen by accident . . . if I turn on the radio in the middle of the night . . . or if I'm driving when Rush Limbaugh happens to be on the radio. I never look for it. Often turn it off if I hear it. It's garbage, in my opinion.

Savage is still on the radio?

I used to listen to him while driving home from work, and yes, he was crazy. Some gems in the crazy, though.

I thought he retired or something....
