I used to never really go for homeschooling, but as we now see what is going on in modern schools. I am all for it, to the point that we should close all public schools.
And I can also state that those who go to college are generally better prepared and years more mature than their peers. Also more able to stand on their own two feet and to respectfully challenge their professors and to make their way in the world.
On a general sense though, as mentioned above, students should be exposed to multiple perspectives and get a taste of the real world out there. Closing them in a bubble of homeschooling may not do it.
