Cuomo won't be able to make the dash. No Popular appeal other than around NY. Evan Bayh.....was one of the Top choices for VP with Hill-Dog last time out. He won't make the dash himself. But he would take the Rider.

    Looks Like O'Malley will wait.

It is looking like Hillary and Biden.

“I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on what’s being proposed here, he’d agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute.” - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

Agreed... I'm hoping for Rand Paul or someone else to take the lead.

Hmm not big on Rand, but a paleo-con is better than a neo-con that's for sure.

I will most likely be voting Libertarian in 2016, assuming someone good gets the nomination. If we get a LINO like in 2008, I will probably stay home. But if Gary Johnson gets the nomination, he has my vote again just as he did in 2012. He's earned my vote tenfold...I can't say that of many politicians.

Why put up with another Clinton?
Why put up with another Bush?
why not vote for the best available candidate no matter their surname?
what is truly alarming is that recommendation even needed to be posted ... and on a forum dedicated to political thought!

in every other election previous to 2008 we always had a white male president
why in 2008 did skin color suddenly become the presidential criterion?
or was that only to white guys who no longer had a president who looked like them?

People wanted a black president, is how.
The left was all excited because Hillary got up on stage and announced that this was going to be a history-making election of either the first woman or first black president. Race was all over it. If you disagreed with Obama on anything you were labeled a racist, and still are. Obama carried 97% of the black vote, who also out-voted whites for the first time since 1968. Aries Spears put it to words in his appearance on All Star Comedy Jam in 2009 but I can't find a clip of his entire appearance. YouTube seems to have cut out the beginning where Aries reflects the black popular opinion that race is more important than policy because of the message a black man being elected president sends to black children.
