What good does that do us? Their just a propaganda arm for the White House. We don't get a balanced truthful report. We get a one sided deliberately crafted Cheney-esque bullshit hyperbole. Were good, their bad, nuff said, it's Miller time!

I was mainly talking about their hands on showing of all the bombing and such. They can't really change much when they are showing the bombings live.
Agreed, on the reporting of the war on TV they will only show or talk about something that will benefit Bush.

I watch Fox News constantly, but mostly for the comedic aspect. Their use of sensationalism and partisan politics is truly legendary. Plus, it's interesting to see what the viewpoint of the opposing side is. What is even more hilarious is that there are people who take what they hear on Fox News seriously.

Only to those so partisan that they see it and certainly no where near in the league of the MSM and other news cable shows.

Not nearly as hilarious as those who are so afraid of FOX because they give a balance view and both sides equal footing. They know that if the public gets to hear both sides they lose.

And when was this forum declared a conservative forum? And claiming others support you does not change the fact that FOX gives the most balanced presentation of the news which just drives the left batty as they can only convince people to their views when the otherside is not presented.

the poll merely shows the caliber of the FoxNews watchers
we accept that it leans right
it is the left that has been in denial for years that the rest of the MSM leans LEFT
that is what is hysterical
so long as the media leans left, who cares

FOX news is very fortunante that their competition chooses to ride the center or left and maintain journalistic credibility. That allows them to practically corner their market. Imagine not having to share some 30% of daily viewers. That's a lotta fricken people! :shock:

Imagine how much National Enquirer sales would soar if they didn't have to share the check out aisle with The Star, The Globe, and a half dozen other tabloids. By comparison, FOX, in my opinion, is like the only tabloid in the checkout aisle. No wonder they get all the business from the few.

You take a drink every time Faux passes off a logic fallacy as fact, a contributor calls someone names, and for every talking point they repeat from the neocon administration.

I sometimes wonder if MSNBC isn't becoming as blatantly biased and slanted to the left as FOX is to the right.

I bet if another major network sold out all integrity and started doing their opinion pieces with the same rightwing spin and bias as FAUX does, it would cut deeply into FOX ratings. FOX seems to have cornered the market on rightwing lunacy. I wonder how they would stand up to the competition of another GOP news network?

But FOX does have some nice graphics and colorful sets. Lot's of pretty blue neon lights. :mrgreen:

Becoming. They make no effort to be balance as opposed to FOX and in fact have become the attack FOX network rather than even try to be a new network anymore. Anyone thinking they can get a accurate view of the news from MSNBC already has a title to that bridge.

Opinion is one thing, news is another. With FOX at least you get a balance veiw as opposed to the MSM and the other cable outlets.
 
I really do not even know why Fox is called a news channel. Should be called a lack of news channel. They really do not report on anything that can be called news. It is all negative political reporting on any event that does not fit a hard core conservative agenda.

You get more real hard news from the local 1 hr news channels than 24 hr Fox news. The hotel I stay in caters to people in my line of work and charges us a very reduced rate for long term stays. Used to get CNN. They changed their TV package about 2 years ago and now no more CNN and we are stuck with Fox which is the same as no more news.

Now it is either buy a paper or go on line if you really want any news.

The fun thing is that they managed to fool me before the Iraq war, which I originally supported until I snapped out of their grip onto a basket of many media outlets.

I had some media problems before that which is why I only had fox news on the tv(and no internet).. They brainwashed me a bit you can say.

5 years later I suffer no side effects. :mrgreen:
