If the woman invites the man into the delivery room while she is delivering the child, that is a PRIVILEGE. She does not HAVE to do that and never has. He has no RIGHT to see her in that condition if she does not wish him to, or anyone else for that matter.

It doesn't give him a right to invade her privacy. Once the child is out of her body he can see it all he wants or whenever the judge mandates it his time with his child.

i have no idea how anybody comes to any other conclusion, i get the emotion but rights dont care about peoples feelings

in this situation nobody gets to see a womans privates against her will, how anybody could ever think otherwise is beyond me.
also if he just wanted to be in the corner of the room that also HER choice, she is exposed in there and going through medical situations, all her own business and privacy, he does NOT get to force himself in the room against his will.
I use to like chicken parm to, it was one of my favorites a long time ago.

I agree completely, I don't get why people think it's okay for anyone to force their way into a hospital room when the patient is against it. That's just messed up.

    I agree 100%

he can come in the room as soon as the mom allows or the baby can be moved to a neutral room as soon as possible, some hospitals do this anyway based on different policies and some nobody can see the baby expect through glass for a little while.

They should keep stripping men and fathers of rights. Maybe some of them will get a clue and not tie themselves down and slit their own throats.
theres no striiping of mems/fathers rights here so its ok \.

Re: Do you think fathers have a legal right to see thier child born or be in the room

I am very sensitive to father's rights, but I don't think it applies in this scenario. If the two are no longer together, then he does not have any right to be present (in the same room) during delivery.

I do agree with the previous points that he does have the right to hang out at the hospital and to see the kid as soon as is safely possible, however.
If you claim sexual harassment to be wrong, yet you defend anyone on your side for any reason,
then you are a hypocrite and everything you say on the matter is just babble.
