Their only argument is "it's mean." Ridiculous. It is a proven fact that women who are stressed during labor are more apt to have a prolonged labor and complications. That extends to baby's health too of course.

    did you ever consider that?
Lotta butt hurt men in this thread, that's for sure. Henrin's had the crap beat out of him in family court....is that your problem too? If so, start another thread.

I know, my goodness! These men's personal issues with the women in their lives and their own POOR choices, have nothing to do with this poor woman and her wishes for privacy while she delivers the child into the world. She said nothing about barring the man from seeing the child EVER once it is no longer a part of her. It is odd and probably a psychologist's DREAM with all the baggage being put on display here.

Yes, I'm sure you'd want your daughter taking unnecessary risks and feeling unnecessary pain, mental and physical, just to salve some guy's 'feelings.'

Women died in droves in childbirth in the past....I guess you feel this woman is so evil she should just suck it up and suffer more than necessary, as that is what his presence would mean for her....according to her.

yep. I've seen female Soldiers get into knock down, drag out, eye scratching, hair pulling brawls all because one of them thought the other was trying to sleep with her "boyfriend".

And am I right in assuming that these are adult-age women?

whassa matter? you're the one who's getting butthurt when I flip your little scenario around on you.

perfectly fine for you to assume the guy is an asshole. but if someone suggests that it might just be the female's fault, well then, that's "different" and the person making the comment is just butthurt.
