I get called a woman hater all the time because I speak up against what individual women do. It's really not my problem that people can't separate my problem with an individual person and all the women of the world, but apparently people struggle with such concepts like a woman can be a ****ing bitch and I can have a problem with it without hating on all women.

Women are immune to criticism or judgment. To say otherwise is misogynistic.

The only way the Father should get to be in the room is if he can help bear some of the labor pains. If he can't, then NO!

So when he holds out his hand for her to hold, is it because they're on a first date?

If you are here to tell me something it would be nice if you would do so.

You do not know how she is acting. You do not know how the relationship ended. You were not privy to any of it. You are making snap judgment on behavior you know nothing about. What IS misogynistic is you making a judgment of a woman in the context of a relationship you know nothing about.

As a someone who has worked in the health care field more than three decades....nothing has changed - privacy is of the utmost importance and you do not do things to make situations more stressful if it is not medically required or avoidable. And certainly labor and delivery is a situation that is already amped up with physical and emotional stress - no need to push her blood pressure through the roof so dad could witness the birth.

But keep on acting like you know what happened - judgmental of an entire individual based on one single decision. Nice

I will take it a further step. Even IF she is the be all end of manipulative Queen Bitches ......she still doesn't want him there and it would add more stress to the situation that could end up impacting the baby. Decision is the same. It is not about him it is about the health and welfare of the patient and the baby she is attempting to deliver.

No one calls me, say, a paedophile all the time, or a racist, or a mugger or a gangster, because if I was somebody probably would have mentioned it by now. Enough people call me another thing frequently enough to make me think it's not just coincidence. So if "everybody" is calling you a woman hater, it might be time to look inwards.

It isn't hatred of all women. It is speaking out for what he sees as an injustice. You know for the past 100 years women learned the only way to get rights was to speak up and fight for them. And when they did they were called hateful man haters etc. If you truly believe in equality among the sexes, then you must be insistent that both are treated fairly and not be a cheerleader for just your own gender.
