As a someone who has worked in the health care field more than three decades....nothing has changed - privacy is of the utmost importance and you do not do things to make situations more stressful if it is not medically required or avoidable. And certainly labor and delivery is a situation that is already amped up with physical and emotional stress - no need to push her blood pressure through the roof so dad could witness the birth.
But keep on acting like you know what happened - judgmental of an entire individual based on one single decision. Nice
I will take it a further step. Even IF she is the be all end of manipulative Queen Bitches ......she still doesn't want him there and it would add more stress to the situation that could end up impacting the baby. Decision is the same. It is not about him it is about the health and welfare of the patient and the baby she is attempting to deliver.
