I hope you don't think the edited clips out of context on the Daily Show is accurate...

When will your own GOP stop editing clips out of context?
And move the clips around to boot?
When is it a bridge too far with Palin with you ?

Wrong, wrong, wrong. Palin was indicating that Obama was making a mistake by his efforts to weaken our military and lower our nuclear stockpile while Putin is building up Russia's military power.

Which party known as the GOP enforced defense cuts in Sequestration?
Why is it that when Obama accepts GOP cuts, they then become Obama weakening the Military.?
Where do spending bills begin ?

Sarah Palin, according to a Dutch Newspaper has stated that Obama should use nuclear weapons to stop Putin when she said:

That's probably not the best course of action I would say.

Palin didn't take 'a bridge too far' lessons from Brewer .
Are you talking about the Gravina Island Bridge almost 10 years ago? I will assume you are going by liberal media accounts on that.

Interpreting that as Palin saying she wants us to attack Russia with nuclear weapons is like anti-gun people declaring anyone who wants a gun wants to shoot someone.

Do you know how to put together a post without the word LIBERAL in it?
Do you even know why Gov. Brewer used the phrase 'a bridge too far'--quick--google?
And which state was that bridge in again--who was the governor ?

She compared it exactly to gun control. It takes a good guy with a gun to stop a bad guy with a gun, and it takes a good guy with a nuke to stop a bad guy with a nuke, which she said in context of not reducing our nuclear arsenal.

The rabid outlying lying about Palin is due to it now proven she was right and the media wrong for her comments on the campaign trail about Russia invading Ukraine. When all else fails, then outright lie. That is what the OP poll is build on - a known, deliberate lie to try to divert from her being right about Russia invading Ukraine.

The original idea of the bridge was never that costly. That airport has over 100,000 travelers annually, who go by ferry. At some point the three operational ferry's will need replaced. What will that cost?

back on point...

After applying for federal aid on the project, the price skyrocketed, to meet federal standards for federal funds. Nobody wanted the bridge to die, but it eventually happened, especially when "pork barrel projects" became a common slogan.

If federal standards for construction wasn't so stringent, the project could have been much cheaper.

The bridge too far from Brewer dealt with guns on campus, which she vetoed, just like she vetoed the recent 1062.
The same gun bill in Idaho right now.
And you have Joko comparing gun issues to what Palin said.
And Sen. Graham quipping we'll lose Alaska to Putin.
With friends like GOPs at this Present Moment Awareness, .......

I thought you were confusing "the bridge to nowhere" with what you said. I never heard the Brewer quote before.

What makes you think I listen to republicans?

I keep thinking there must be some reason Palin isn't unemployed, but for the life of me, I can't quite figure out why anyone would want to keep her around.

Even considering Palin's stupidity I doubt that she really said that. Even the most extremist hawks in this forum whose grasp on foreign politics are equal to their grasp on reality don't advocate that particular path.
As for how this thread evolved from a somewhat out-of-context OP to a Palin-fawning fest, I have no idea. Apparently Palin is the ideal woman to some people in this forum

Yes, that is why she berated on Obama being weak towards Putin to then state that to stop a bad guy you need a good guy with a nuclear weapon. You might not think those comments are linked by I disagree (as does that Dutch newspaper among others).

No, it's just the OP of the thread appears to have the intent of starting a hate fest. Why do people do that? Why do you call her stupid, just because you cant relate to her? Is that her problem, or yours?

So...are you implying that you're a Republican who wants to be laughed at?
No. I am not a republican or democrat.

The republican that feel that way... That's their problem. She is her own person and refuses to be put in any particular box. Though she's republican, she doesn't follow the typical republican mold. I like her spirit and independence. I like the fact that she is far less authoritarian than almost all other politicians.

Ignoring the OP which took her comments out of context, I'll address your last point.
There's a difference in having different opinions and being a loony. I doubt you have much tolerance or patience for CT people or people who go out of their way to say "Blah America bad blah" because it's simply not a difference of opinion, it's a difference of sanity.
Likewise what Palin preaches and stands for is mostly ignorance, populism, and backwardness. Admittedly it's been a long time since I was somewhat familiar with her (and it's been a long time since she's been relevant) but that was what I believed then and now.
